Buck immediately jumped at the opportunity to get away from everything. The story follows Simon's new life with the clan after Camille has been sent to Idris. It includes music, clan shenanigans, reconciliation, love and comfort, a couple of serious conversations, Spanish telenovelas, werewolves, flirting and wooing with office supplies, protective Simon, protective Raphael, protective clan - everyone is quite protective, really - and a growing pile of original characters who don't appear all that often but are mentioned frequently because it's a huge clan and I can't keep using the same three people for everything, alright?
This is a slice of life rom-com sprinkled with insecurity issues and personal growth. A fluffy, feel-good slow-burn with Raphael being his usual gloriously irritating self and Simon being denser than a brick wall. So what if he doesn't realize they have been sort of dating for a while? It happens!
