Summary

Douxie was determined to hate their new drummer... Micah didn't fit the band's aesthetic; he was an American Apple Pie Texan with the attitude and appearance of a golden retriever, and when standing on stage with Douxie and Zoe, he looked painfully out of place. There were so many good reasons to hate him; He was dumb, and annoying, and surprisingly hot in a Stetson, and really muscular, and worst of all; He was mortal.
Douxie had no choice but to force himself to hate Micah, because crushing on a mortal was a fucking terrible idea.
Micah was determined to hate his new mark... Because that's all Douxie was; a mark. Nothing more. There were so many good reasons to hate him; he was rude, and selfish, and a traitor to magic creatures everywhere, and he had frustratingly pretty eyes, and he was surprisingly kind when you get to know him, and worst of all; He was the reason Micah was trapped in servitude to the Janus Order.
Micah had no choice but to hate Douxie... It was a lot easier to lie to, spy on, manipulate, and kill people you hated, after all.

Coming of Age in the House of Black is a story of turning points in the lives of the last generation of Blacks: Bellatrix, Andromeda, Narcissa, Sirius, and Regulus. It takes place over the course of Bellatrix's life, prior to the events of canon, and focuses on the five cousins, but is told from multiple perspectives, including Cygnus and Druella, Arcturus, Walburga, and all five of the main characters.
Mary Potter AU magic and history applies; the Black Family tree as outlined by JKR outside of the books, and any birth-dates she has given for any of the characters do not.
This is a long, drawn-out tragedy, heavy on suffering and angst, in case the tags were unclear.

"What does it mean?" someone muttered, and she turned to find everyone staring at Percy with wide eyes. Percy looked equally shocked while staring blankly at the sword in his hand. Jason swallowed, taking a step back as his lips curled in disgust.
"It means he's a god," he said. Percy shook his head. Jason's eyes flicked to where the rest of them were standing. His eyes met Annabeth's, and she felt her stomach twist when his expression hardened. "They all are."

Mira has always been around, just a background character. But one day, when something unexplainable happens, he's dropped into a world that is much bigger than he had thought. It's beautiful, but he may find out just how dangerous it can be.
