Summary
Patton is captured by the biggest supervillain of the city. He trusts the heroes will save him, but also doesn’t think all the bad guys are all that bad. His big brother always reminds him that people aren’t born bad. He always says people have the capacity to change for the better. Patton thinks that still applies here, as he swings his legs and debates the infamous Deceit on his life choices.
In which Patton Talk No Jutsu’s his way into Janus’ life and promptly destroys everything he had going for him. Well, except for the important stuff.

“Hello Patton,” Logan’s deceptively calm voice intoned as the other voice continued to scream in the background. “I hate to ask, but as you know I am very busy with a… project. I was wondering if you would be able to…” There was another scream in the background, shorter and higher pitched. “Remus do not bite your brother,” Logan said firmly.
This is a prequel to Road Trips and Missing Persons by a lot of years.
From the prompt “Hi, I’ve been subtle at hinting that I want your attention all day and you haven’t noticed once and now I’m pissed,” with Patton & Remus.

They've done it once before, but it's a dangerous trip. Roman is sure he'll be just fine, though. Plus Patton will go with him! The human doesn't even use the kitchen that often. It'll be ice and easy.

Listen, Patton doesn't understand what the big deal is. This is what notebooks are for, after all. Notebooks are for taking notes! They are for helping you remember things! They are for whatever words or feelings make their way from your brain down your arm, through a pen or pencil—or marker—and onto the paper. That's their purpose! It would be silly to not use a notebook if you have things you want to remember and you need some place to write it down.

From the sounds of it, Logan’s hardly stopped to breathe since he figured out that the newspaper wasn’t just a newspaper. He hesitates for a moment, just a moment, before knocking on the door.
“Come in?”
“Hey,” he says as he steps through, “wanted to check if you—whoa.”
