An Ao3 re-upload of my stories from FF.net, merging two stories into one.
Story based on Pokemon Special, the manga. This is a collection of one-shots, each with a primary pairing in focus, merged from two separate collections from the other site. Namely, Special Events (September 2010 – July 2013), and Distinct Events (February 2014 – April 2017, February 2019 - Discontinued on September 5, 2020). Therefore many things may seem outdated in the first portion of the story.
Each one-shot focuses on a single Dex Holder pairing as they mingle and have fun, and sometimes suffer horrible fates.

Annette doesn’t say anything, just takes a seat beside him, resting her head on his shoulder and messing with her hands. Ashe can see the telltale magic kickback at the tips of her fingers, which are bruised all the way through her forearms, and almost burnt at their very tips—he is glad once again he doesn’t use magic, although his own wounds from the fight sting, too. He is reminded once again that he is not the only one suffering.
He is about to tell himself that he must get over this, that Lonato was a necessary sacrifice, that he does all of this in Lonato’s name when, as if she can read his mind, Annette exhales, snapping him out of his thoughts.Bookmarked by RadiantAbyss

Serena thinks back to Arboria, to a strange journal kept in Benedictus’ home. Wouldn’t it be romantic if his granddad had been the adventurer in that journal? Following not in Erdwin’s footsteps, but in his grandfather’s...that would be wonderful.
And that’s where she gets stuck. He would be perfect, and quite truthfully, he is perfect...but he’s the Luminary, and if Arboria is right about him, about Veronica and Serena squabbling over him, then they’re likely right about her too. About her being a disappointment to Serenica’s name, to Arboria as a whole…(And yes, they may have been wrong about the Luminary’s demeanor, but perhaps that’s their sole allotted wrong guess? It’s best she curtail any hopes of romance, even if only to spite them.)
Or, a story of two souls with the world on their shoulders and a LOT to live up to, and how they learn to become their own people. (With tremendous apologies to anyone who loves Arboria.)
