Summary
A retelling of the ME:A storyline from (mostly) Jaal and other angara characters' POV, seen through the lens of various communications, conversations and descriptive prose.
Do leave a comment if you're enjoying the ride, or just want to touch base/ engage in discussions about anything Mass Effect (or anything scifi, for that matter...).
6 Jul 2023: Wow. Nearly two years on, and we are fast approaching the end of what has turned out to be a behemoth of a series. That so many have followed (and even binged!) what must seem like an unending succession of chapters all this time will never cease to amaze me. Thank you all for reading, commenting, and dialoguing with me throughout!
As to whether I plan on writing anything else - I do. Whatever I write next will not, however, be linear (in terms of timeframe) as this work is. Rather, I am thinking of writing vignettes, to flesh out some of the 'background'/ 'between scene changes' stuff in Communications itself; in response to reader suggestion/ query. So, if you think there's some 'backstory' you'd like explored or interrogated a little more, drop me a note in the comments section, and we'll see where that goes!

Summary
Sara Ryder never wanted to be a leader. But when tragedy struck her family, she was forced to step up; taking on the seemingly impossible task of building a life for her people in a new, terrifying, and violently inhosptible galaxy. Among the many dangers she would face, the last thing she expected to do was to fall in love. But life, as they say, finds a way...
Or, the attempted novelisation of Mass Effect: Andromeda that nobody actually asked for, but y'all are getting anyway. Follows the game plot (just about!) with plenty of my own additional scenes (so hopefully it won't be too boring). Some real big Sara/Jaal love here, folks; a pretty slow burn but hopefully the wait will be worth it. Will bump up the rating as soon as I hit the NSFW bits.

Summary
Sara Ryder wakes to find her father is dead, named her Pathfinder and her brother is in a coma. On top of all this, she must navigate a strange, new galaxy whilst undertaking a task she had no preparation for. No big deal. It's not like she's got entire species expecting her to find them new worlds, delivering on the "Golden Worlds" promise that the Initiative sold them. And it's also not like she's got new aliens to deal with and Kett to kill. She can totally manage. No problem, whatsoever.
A retelling of Mass Effect: Andromeda with heavy focus on the Jaal/Ryder romance.

Yet, with the help of a fellow outsider, Ichigo lands herself on a true ninja squad and is ready to protect her home- and prove her worth while she’s at it.

Summary
The moments between the dangerous missions where Sara and Jaal find each other. This expands upon what I feel may have been missed opportunities in the game for the sake of a little wish-fulfillment and indulging head-canon. Will loosely follow the plot of the game with expansion beyond. There will be spoilers, so enter at your own risk. Explicit, sexy-time content coming up in future chapters! Updates roughly every 4 weeks.
