Jean sighed as she buried her head in her hands. 27 criminals had been caught this week alone and they were still no closer to discovering who their mysterious vigilante was. None of the prisoners had a clue either. Kaeya had questioned them at Jean’s insistence, but after a few hours, even he returned empty-handed. The “Darknight Hero” was the only lead they had, but that was no step closer than she’d been on Wednesday.
Just as she gathered the scattered papers to stack them on the corner of her desk, her office door creaked open.
“Jean, sweetie. It’s past 5 o’clock. It’s time you left for the day, don'tcha think?” Lisa walked inside. “Let’s head to the Angel Share. You’ve yet to celebrate your birthday properly and by the looks of it, you’ve been strung tight this week. And I’m sure you know who likes to bartend on Fridays.”

Summary
Yuuta feels alone in Africa and Inumaki senses a missing piece while Yuuta is away.
Late nights filled with starry skies and forlorn wishes bring the boys together even while they are continents apart.Yuuta rolled his finger across the picture a little longer as he thought about how much he missed Inumaki. His heart sank as he realized that he hadn’t felt the other’s cursed energy in months. As each evening came and went, he felt more and more lonely as the reality that he was thousands of kilometers away sank in.
Inumaki mentally kicked himself for somehow letting his thoughts drift back to Yuuta again. It’d barely been 30 minutes since he left his bed, and yet, images of soft blue eyes that deserved the world and much, much more flooded his thoughts once again.

The two years had felt like an eternity to Baam, an endless night that he couldn't escape. It had been a night that bore no moon and no stars; not even a whisper of a flickering flame could have lit that lonesome darkness for him. Yet, standing on the landing dock before him once more was his moon. If Rachel had been his star, Khun had to be his moon. It only made sense.
As they connected, Khun was timidly beginning to pull away; but Baam couldn't let that happen. He'd grieved Khun for two years. He probably loved him, unknowingly, even longer. This moment felt like something Baam had been waiting for his entire life. The rest be damned if he wasn't going to indulge in every little piece Khun was willing to gift him.

Still sitting soundly on top of Karkata, Tighnari heaved a deep sigh, trying to will away the pain of the lightning that still radiated through him. He wasn't a stranger to pain, but this ached throughout him like no other injury had before. It was a new sensation and one he didn't particularly like. Additionally, he knew the dangers that a strike posed, but insisted that the others go about their business to rescue the Dendro Archon instead of hanging back with him.
Not long after the others had left, he heard soft footsteps padding up the stairs of Pardis Dhyai. They were intent but light and Tighnari knew immediately who they belonged to the moment they were within earshot. He glared at the familiar Jackal figurehead that stepped through the front entrance.
"And what are you doing here?" he teased, but the unexpected guest made no remark. Instead, they quickly strode over to his side, completely disregarding Haypasia, and gave him a once-over from head to toe.
"You're injured," they gruffly muttered. -
