Trying so hard to be blank, in a way Steve knows far too well, even if Dustin isn't very good at it. He sighs and adds, "...He wouldn't want you to keep doing this, either."
It's low, Steve knows it, and Dustin's brows pinch together even as he still keeps his eyes trained on the tree trunk. "You don't know that." It's sullen, like Dustin knows how unreasonable it is but doesn't care. Stubborn, like always. "Maybe he likes the company."

“Bruno.” Wilfredo pulled him close. Desperately trying to reach the man through the shell he had formed around him.
“I just, I just wanted to pretend, just for a moment, that it was ok. That I could just be this. That it was ok to just be this.” Bruno confessed.
“Listen to me.” Wilfredo demanded. “I would never change a single thing about you. You are perfect as you are.”
Bruno stared at him dumbfounded but said nothing. Wilfredo let out a tired sigh. He loosened his grip and rested his forehead on Bruno’s. Trembling against the rage he struggled to contain. This burn, it hurt, but it kept him alive. He needed Bruno to feel it.
“I know it feels like the world has no place for you. Por favor, Te lo ruego, don’t ever give up looking for one. If you can’t find a place then make one, pero nunca te rindas.”
Wilfredo opened his eyes again to take in those shimmering emeralds. “This world was made for all of us. You have a right to be here. Never doubt that.”
