Certain lives and certain deaths, they are significant enough that when souls pass over before their time, they are reborn into new worlds. Sansa remembering is an anomaly, but The North Remembers and Sansa is of the North; She Remembers.
Sansa thinks very little of this new world, or this new village she is meant to call ‘home’, but she does love her new brother, who shines so brightly the gods must surely have breathed star-fire into his bones when they created him. The first time Naruto tells her he will be Hokage, she does not doubt him– he was born to rule, just as she was. But Konoha does not deserve him, and she will not let them take and take until there is nothing left of her bright brother. Shang Qinghua transmigrates into his own terrible novel as a baby. The fact that this seems to be a world based on his first draft, where things actually happened and the plot did matter, is less than comforting. Having a second chance is nice, but ending up as cannon fodder and dying offscreen are the last things he wants to do. The only way to avoid his 'canonical' fate is to do as the System demands and try to fix his mistakes from within the world he created.
Somehow this ends up with a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Luo Binghe as an An Ding Peak disciple, because writing about a kid being miserable and seeing a kid being miserable are apparently two entirely different skillsets.

The witcher has a tired but smug-looking Yennefer on his arm, snuggled into his side and supporting him as much as he supports her. She's closer than Jaskier ever got, and they have the look of sudden, invincible, fated love about them. Jaskier's treacherous mind begins composing their ballad even as his bruised little heart shrivels up inside his chest and dies a quiet, bittersweet death.
Next to him, Chireadan sees it too and makes a small noise, sounding just as devastated as Jaskier feels.

“These aren’t flowers, they’re weeds.” Renfri told him, rolling her eyes but allowing the contact with ease. Somedays it seemed like Julian was the only person in the entire castle who wasn’t afraid of her.
“They look like flowers.” He said, crinkling his nose.
“They’re dandelions,” Renfri informed her brother with a tiny smile, “They grow everywhere, even places they perhaps shouldn’t. That’s why they’re a weed.”
“Perhaps they’re a little like you,” She teased, “Growing in even the scariest of places with no fear.” Like a monster’s heart, she doesn’t say.
“Like a superpower!” Julian gasped.
Renfri separated one dandelion from the little clutch and reached out to tuck it behind a little ear. “For the stubborn hero, Jaskier.”

Jaskier, bright as ever, with the finest of clothing on, carelessly flinging his many rings onto the table in his chambers hears it and spins around quick to face Geralt. Hands on his hips and tunic unbuttoned he smiles up at his companion and sighs wistfully, “Dearest Garalt if only we were all like you- but unfortunately the rest of must make due with the measly years we’re given, and if we fail enough at something eventually we must give it up,” and here he strips the tunic off completely and flails dramatically onto the bed, all while avoiding eye contact, “But look at it this way- one man’s failed bard is another man’s renowned bedwarmer!” A wink for good measure.
- or, whilst Geralt and Yennefer are off raising Ciri and watching their romantic relationship deteriorate, Jaskier retires from bardship and becomes a royal bedwarmer and absolutely nobody is happy but they work it out
