Woah,I love how Kaveh's POV is in third person while Alhaitham's is in first person,it really distinguishes how they both think!And my goodness...This POV made me understand that even though Alhaitham is a linguistics major he still can't find the right words to say"I love you",it's quite heartbreaking in a way...I really enjoyed this a lot and this really helped me have a vivid idea of their relationship

Summary
There’s a first time for everything. Even if the thing in question is something oddly specific, like touching the face of a man for the first time since you painfully parted ways with him nearly a decade ago. There is also such a thing as deja vu, which can be felt at times such as these; when you are holding the face of said man in a way that mirrors a bittersweet memory from your youth, one that he clearly remembers too.
A little-known fact about Alhaitham is that his nose bleeds when he's exhausted. A little-known fact about Kaveh is that in certain contexts, he thinks himself a terrible architect.

Wow.I have no words for this beautifully written fanfic.The metaphors,the large but also tiny advancements,the demolishing of a well made building and the slow rebuilding of it's remains.It's absolutely beautiful in a way.(Don't mind how I'm calling every fanfic I bookmark beautiful today, feeling extra emotional lol)

Summary
Mehrak has this habit of opening Kaveh’s door when it’s not fully closed, nosing her way into his office and then leaping onto his lap to snuggle her head into his stomach. So he’s not entirely unsurprised when he hears the door creak open, slow and deliberate the way his cat always does it, and he doesn’t even look up to check that it’s her before he speaks.
“Not right now, solnyshko,” he calls distractedly, too focused on his current sketch.
There’s silence, as there usually is since Mehrak can’t actually respond to him. Then, “Don’t be so vulgar, senior.”
Kaveh accidentally calls Al-Haitham a pet name in a different language, and then he keeps doing it. It's too bad he forgets that Al-Haitham is fluent in all of them.

“No,” Kaveh says, thinking. “With my luck, if I did know him already, then he would probably be the worst person I know. Someone like Al-Haitham.” The thought is so absurd that he stops and laughs. “But that would be fucking awful.”
In Kaveh's humble opinion, the title for The Worst Guy In The World is tied between four people: the asshole in his Tuesday eight am, the employee behind the library email account, the guy writing the university's advice column, and the student that the professor he assists always complains about.
It would only be too convenient if they were all the same person. (They are.)

Summary
When Alhaitham writes a book with a protagonist based on himself, he doesn't expect to see his own character stripped bare by a fanfiction writer who "identifies really strongly" with his love interest.
Alhaitham found himself smiling as he cooked dinner that night, thinking back on his conversation with “alkavarzaray,” the random online stranger who understood him to a terrifying degree. Creating any sort of art and allowing it to be perceived is extremely intimate in itself, but the idea that this man had properly understood and absorbed most of what Alhaitham had put out there, baring his soul— It was something between incredible and horrifying.

This is the second fic that has successfully made me cry...Good job, honestly, straight from the bottom of my heart.I realized on the last chapter that manijeh and arman were based on Canon Kaveh and Alhaithem and oh my...I bawled my eyes out when Faranak had a heart-to-heart with her son,I sobbed at Alhaithem's drafts for the novel and I WAILED at the end.Whenever I think about this fanfic a tear instinctively rolls down my cheek,I'm barely keeping myself together rn, either way this was so enjoyable and broke my heart in a good way🥹(and fixed it for me of course)

Summary
When Sethos left the class, the two were arguing again, this time about which textbook would be best for the class. Their altercations hadn't really stopped at any moment, because every time Professor Thoth asked a question, Kaveh's hand shot up while Alhaitham leisurely raised his, and they each confronted each other's points in increasingly passive-aggressive language.
They hated each other's guts, and it was frankly hilarious. Why they sat right next to each other would remain a mystery, but Sethos guessed that it was probably to amp up the tension.

Kaveh’s eyes narrow. He peeks inside, taking in the muddy floors, the flowers strewn all over the place, and the leaves scattering the floors. Alhaitham watches Kaveh scan the room before his eyes flit over Alhaitham, and then the Aranara, and then Alhaitham again.
Through it all, the Aranara continue to stare at Alhaitham like he’s the biggest disappointment they’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting.
Kaveh’s lips twitch.
