Summary
During the day, Dice Daycare takes care of Pokemon. During the night, the group known as Phantom Mask steal Shadow Pokemon from the evil Team DR so that they can be purified and rehabilitated. Kokichi, along with his organization Dice, show these pokemon how to open their hearts again.
Too bad no one told Shuichi Saihara this. When his friend Kaede, who can see the auras of Shadow Pokemon, brings him news of her sister having one of these evil pokemon, it puts him on a crash course with the vigilante group. As he tries to investigate the daycare and figure out what these Shadow Pokemon are and why Dice seem to be involved, he learns about pokemon being stolen and slowly uncovers the existence of Team DR.

He could just sleep right now, he knew none of them were going to save them, if anything, they were most likely dead, killed because he didn’t comply with Monokuma’s threats. No one in the game was going to save him, they saw him as a villain, his plan went perfectly. He missed them. He lay there for a while, thinking of what to do. Hoping for the small chance one of them escaped, he had trust in his subordinates, his friends.
He simply waited for the light, and once it shined he felt his consciousness drift.
“We found another one!”
“How did you find more? We already accounted for everyone, dead and alive,”
“Which one do you think is stubborn enough to survive?”
“Oh…“That bastard just won’t stay dead will he?”

Shaken by his time as a Remnant of Despair as well as the Jabberwock Island killing game, Gundham is sent home to stay with his mother for a while and fulfill his community service requirements at his animal sanctuary. However, once he, Kazuichi, and Sonia get there, they discover exactly how much it's changed since the Tragedy.
(Took minor liberties with canon, so sorry about that. Some flashbacks to the Tragedy have a UDG vibe because your boy just finished watching a playthrough of that game and absolutely digs it)
(BLANKET CONTENT WARNINGS: depression, PTSD, violence, mentions of death (human and animal), and intense descriptions of self-mutilation and body horror in some chapters. suicide attempt in one chapter. explicit smut/sex in one chapter.)

Summary
Kokichi and his organisation had always gone around causing mass mayhem, also known as living on the streets and trying to survive in this world without parents, playing pranks along the way of course.
This collection of short stories explores the little adventures they all had together from their childhood all the way up to their teenage years. Unlike my other short story collection, each story here takes place in the same timeline and though they may not be written in chronological order, they all happened so they might reference one another from time to time.
The stories range from little heists to in-depth character exploration.
The names and personalities of the other DICE members were not thought up by me, they were by Sam Angel here on AO3 who wrote the beautiful post V3 fanfic, DR. Painful truth.
