I was inspired by “Fluffy Love” by Spritzy (holy crap go read it, it's so cute you guys), and also a random doodle I did, to make a love story about Poppy coming across a more animalistic!branch and the two slowly falling for each other while more of Branch’s true nature comes through.
Alternatively, everyone knows Disco Trolls went extinct, but there are other kinds of Trolls still out there that separated themselves when the Pop trolls tried to take over.
Alternatively, alternatively, there’s another reason Branch doesn’t live in Troll Village. A … very fluffy reason.

So the movie may have done something to me and left me empty with the lack of good long fics to read. So I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands.
This story will follow the plot of the story but there will be some twists along the way because there’s no way I’m writing all those singing scenes out.
And I very much dislike how they glossed over Branch’s trauma and certain other themes within the movie so be prepared to wanna give Branch a hug cause he may need it.

There was a shift and Uncle’s head came up. They stared at this strange spirit. It turned its back to them and Zuko was breathless at the show of disregard. Figures a spirit would not consider him a threat. He shouldn’t take it personally, but he’s been dismissed his whole life. He’s tired of it. A hand gripped his trembling one and he takes a breath. There is no use getting upset over the ways of a spirit. They both studied its small form and Zuko was caught by its profile. The spirit’s back held three repeating and somewhat glowing symbols. It curved in a familiar motion.
“A turtle,” Uncle whispered.
