"You just haven't tried it yet," Mk gripped his fists. "It changed Red, and his parents too!" He pointed at the fire demon, who rolled his eyes and looked away from the two.
Macaque's eyes softened, and frowned. "Perhaps," He turned around and headed back inside. "But Wukong is different. We . . . are different."

Centuries ago, two celestial primates gave life to a child. A child that carried their joy and love.
One mistake and one misunderstanding was enough for their happy family to fall apart. Now one wishes to fix it all, while the other fears to be found to die by their lover's hands.

[REWRITE OF 'A LUNAR EXCEPTION']
"A lone soul, deep in the ocean of my realm?" It had no mouth to speak, yet it spoke, clearly and understandably you might add. But you paid no mind to the weirdness of it as you intently listened to whatever word it had to say. I mean, it beats having to sit in the silence the endless void provided, right?
"Fascinating," it pauses, unmoving as it remained still on your figure, continuing to observe you. "Not many mortals has taken destiny's interest. You are quite a compelling case."
A pair of gigantic hands surrounded your miniscule form, gingerly taking hold of your body almost as if you were made of glass.
Despite its size, you don't feel an ounce of fear nor terror rushing into your veins. Something inside you tells you to trust it, that they had no ill intentions, and to surrender into their grasp.
"Let's get you somewhere you will fit right in... This place won't do."
The last thing you remember was their piercing, yet soft gaze, staring at you as you floated in the deep abyss.

Summary
Everyone has a destiny, one of which they cannot escape from. Some people also call destiny a prophecy, and though not often sometimes people are born with two prophecies. When this happens, the child must either be destroyed or they will need to shatter one of their prophecies.
Qí Xiǎotiān also known as MK was one such child, originally meant to be destroyed, he lives despite the odds and now is a student under the great Monkey King. But as the days go on and after the defeat of Lady Bone Demon, Mk begins to wonder more about his origins, and just who and where is his family? It was something that never bothered him before, but as mothers day comes he feels a bit of loneliness as vague and blurry memories begin to resurface.
While this is going on, Sun Wukong keeps thinking back on the past and the choices he has made. There were a lot of bad ones and admits this, but wonders if he can be forgiven. Or if not forgiven, at least still mend the friendship with Macaque. Things don't have to be the same, all Sun Wukong wanted was to talk properly to his best friend again without wanting to punch or kill him.
