This story happens over the course of one summer, when two independent artistic souls intertwine.
Inspired by Bridgerton and Pride and Prejudice, this fic includes gender neutral readers and a sexism-free Regency story for all genders and identities. Lowkey I'm surprised no one thought of this yet, considering flowery words and yearning is like... all Hector does.
Updating when I feel like it. I need a hobby before I get back to college in August. None of this is planned; I'm coming up with it chapter by chapter, so if it's bad, blame my addiction to margaritas and Tomadachii life.

Summary
After looking through dozens of listings for a new house, you discover an ad for an interesting house. The price was fairly low for the size of the property, and it was to be sold fully furnished. You message the homeowner to meet up with them to see the house for yourself. Once you meet up with them and they give you a nervous, and very hastily, tour of the house, you decide to buy it. What a steal! Not noticing the small little details of a house that was severely neglected, and the homeowner being very relieved to get rid of it.
Once you move in, you finally notice the state that it’s in, and realize you have a lot of work to do. Your new home needs a little bit of Tender Love and Care. But what happens when you find a pair of glasses and discover that your house needs TLC in more ways than one?

This is a "what if" Rolan had a romance route scenario.
It's some shenanigans, a date, and then some horny nasty with a hopeful ending. He's down so bad, he has so many feelings, and eventually, he concludes that he likes you, (Tav) because you're stupid and annoying. He wants a little of your audacity for himself. To want someone like this is brand new to him. He's a proud, self-important dumbass and so are you! Realizing this doesn't suddenly make you any less frustrating of a person. If anything he's annoyed with himself once realizing he's horns deep, too far gone to turn back. Utterly, atrociously enthralled by you.
“I don’t need you.” He forces through gritted teeth even as his balls threaten to detach from his body in favor of finding someone more deserving of his manhood.
“But you want me.” Confidence oozes from you, pungent and lustrously obnoxious. The expression fits you so well that he hates you for it. Your eyebrows raise, daring him to say otherwise. At that exact moment, Rolan manages to leech off of your tenacity just enough that he's able to shed the last of his hateful perseverance.
