Summary
The first time Tommy died, he was eleven, trapped in flames with his parents. The next time he died was three minutes later, in those same flames. It didn't take him long to figure out that his deaths were like resets- chances to fix whatever killed him. Soon, though, he would grow tired of it and the mind-numbing puzzles he had to solve.
Tommy kept this gift to himself, not wanting to be brought into a school for powered kids and adolescents, not with a gift that involved dying. He went on with his life, skipping town whenever he noticed he seemed to die more there, learning a few pick-pocketing tricks and street rules along the way.
It seems that no matter where he goes, though, Tommy's gift comes back to burden him. This time, it's in the form of a famous gifted facility known to hold some of the world's most dangerous gifts, and it's in his best interest to make sure they never find out his.

"I know you," Dream breathed, stepping back as George stared back at him in confusion. "It's you.”
"Dream, what are you talking about?" Sapnap stared at Dream, noticing the sudden shift in behavior. Dream’s face conveyed fear and anger both at once, fists clenched.
"You're that fairy! From the Battle of Flames..." Dream clutched his head, the memory like a painful stab. "You're the fairy that read my mind before letting me go!"
The War Between Heaven and Earth ended, Dream and Sapnap sacrificing their futures by taking on a curse of immortality to ensure the victory for the kingdom of the elves in a pivotal final battle.
Two thousand years later, Dream meets a fairy for the first time since that terrible day, and everything changes.
George, a nightmare fairy, breaks through the protective barrier of their cabin and exposes them to the outside world. With the continent of Osiadira on the verge of another war, Dream embarks on a journey with George, Sapnap, and sole human BadBoyHalo to find the truth and end the conflict.
