Modern day college basketball Arcane AU - Vi and Jinx are sisters playing for Zaun College, and Piltover led by Caitlyn Kiramman are their sworn rivals. However this year Caitlyn has been forced to transfer to Zaun, and the sisters must get used to working with their old enemy to defeat her old team and win the cup.
To make things more complicated, it seems both sisters might be growing feelings for their new team mate. Who will each choose? Their sibling, or their crush? And can Cait pick between the two? With such a mess, do Zaun have any chance in their final shot at glory?

Summary

A build over multiple tournaments. Will use and subvert some tropes but Cait will be princely, she will be knightly and she will be handsome.

Summary
Pulled together after Vi sacrificed herself for them both, Cait (the woman who loved her) and Jinx (the sister who missed her) have obeyed her dying wish to help each other. They led their cities to defeat Ambessa's forces and defeat Viktor but then had to pick up the pieces of their broken lives together.
In doing so they realised how much they shared and hate and obsession became admiration and respect became lust and love.
Now, as a couple, Caitlyn gives Jinx the most intimate thing she can thing of.
The chance to tattoo her and claim a part of her for herself.
Note:
In this reality, Vi sadly dies in noble sacrifice at the end of Season 2 Act 2. Isha survives. All the other character deaths and survivals are as in original canon. I may expand this alternate universe at some point. In particular I have a Melvika fic in my mind.
I love Vi, and CaitVi is my top ship in Arcane and one of my favourite ever. But CaitJinx also has an amazing dynamic and this idea sang to me.

Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.
“…Oh thank god.”
