I refuse to write bad father Bruce Wayne. There's nothing wrong with that trope, but the world has enough problems and I'm not into all that angst these days. Maybe later, who knows. But this fic isn't meant to be overly serious, this is a more FUNctional Batfamily. It does have an A/B/O theme, there won't be a lot of angst, and only enthusiastic consent. I'm attempting to write a gender neutral reader, so if you catch me messing it up... let me know 😀

Jason has returned to Gotham, rising as Red Hood. The pit still claws at him and he's getting ready to beat the shit out of his replacement, but then Poison Ivy decides to attack Crime Alley. Jason get's caught up fighting her, not sure what pollen she's using this time, but it doesn't matter when she's shipped off and none of the street kids were hurt. The building was destroyed, unfortunately he didn't realize what operation what going on inside until he finds a kid in the alley next to it, suffering from cuddle pollen, and having obviously been through a lot. He get's attached rather quick. damn it, Jason's gonna pull a Bruce, isn't he?

John Constantine sat quietly rubbing his temples with his hands. He was fighting the urge to not pull out a cigarette and light it. He knew this meeting would be bad as soon as the Bat called him here for a favor he knew it was going to get messy. Batman never needed him for favors unless it was serious. According to Batsy, a group of people called the League Of Assassins are joining up with an unknown cult. It seemed John was the best bet, he does have quite the experience with cults.
So far they weren't getting anywhere and it had been two weeks, the only thing that John has noticed is how what the bats call the Lazarus Pits, looks suspiciously like ectoplasm. Boiling ectoplasm. But still ectoplasm. He really didn't want to have to ask Danny for help, but if those pits truly were ectoplasm he would need his nephew's help.

Or when The League of Assassins starts acting up and joining forces with an unknown cult, Batman contacts John Constantine for help.
But John would need help from some other people, people he'd rather not put in harms way.
