Written as a sequel to the settings of jacobk's fantastic fanfic A Young Woman's Political Record and the Youjo Senki manga, with some inspiration from The Cold War fanfic by embrace_goto_statement.
After the Second Great War, Tanya thought that her retirement was imminent. Just last for 2 more years, and she can resign as Chancellor peacefully. Little did she expect that Being X would break his decade long silence just to screw her over. What do you mean there's a Monarchist movement? Why does this country still want to be annexed by Germania? How did we accidentally get into a Cold War!?
This is supposed to be a light-hearted, semi-serious fanfic, with the goal of answering:

Vi froze when the pheromones hit her. That delicious overwhelming scent of cedar and leather and gunsmoke. She closed her eyes when she breathed it in and when she opened them again the alpha was directly in front of her.
Vi jerked back into the wall behind her, then ducked to the left to move towards the center of the cell as the alpha tried to grab her.
“You're in rut.” Vi said, a cold realization seeping into her as she looked down at the sheriff’s trousers, a bulge clearly visible between her legs. The room felt off-kilter, and she had to fight to keep her balance without the wall to steady her.
“Clever girl,” the alpha lilted, smiling at her, her eyes roving over Vi’s naked and bruised body.
“We aren’t doing this,” Vi said, shaking her head and raising her fists.
“Oh, I'm afraid we are darling. I do love a challenge, Violet.” The alpha grinned and brought her fists up, mimicking Vi’s fighting stance.

Vi is a prisoner on the omega-floor in Stillwater prison, she's used to prison and things are going as well as she'd expect. That is until she catches the eye of a cruel and powerful alpha, Sheriff Kiramman.

After a wild night in a bar, under the influence of alcohol, Vi is apprehended by the Wardens, who waste no time in locking her up in a cell at their headquarters. The next day, when she is taken to the Sheriff's personal interrogation room, the Sheriff is more than ready to teach Vi a lesson and take care of her rehabilitation personally, ensuring she becomes an exemplary citizen. She is well trained and well armed, always jumping for the next opportunity to battle, to win, to kill. This is all brought to question by a certain Princess however, and she realizes life may not just be about fighting. And that running from destiny is ultimately pointless.
