Summary
Hermione Granger, returning to Hogwarts after the War without Harry and Ron by her side, wants nothing more than a quiet, peaceful final year at school. Instead, she winds up with two new friends. One of them is an anonymous, charming penpal that only goes by the name of Romeo. The other is Draco Malfoy, who is far more companionable (and far more handsome) than she ever gave him credit for.
To her dismay, she develops crushes on both of them at the same time.

AU. Harry accidentally Apparates to an empty Grimmauld Place when he’s nine instead of to the top of the school roof when he escapes Dudley’s gang. The house is empty except for portraits and sometimes a speaking wooden face, and Harry has to kill his own food, and there’s something nasty in the cellars, and some of the portraits are mad. But this is still a vast improvement over the Dursleys.

And thus began a very complicated and unideal state of affairs in which Draco couldn’t ask whether the world-ending, all-consuming randiness he felt all day every day from that point on was a symptom of his magical fake-real (but mostly fake) pregnancy and something that she was also experiencing, or simply the logical progression of his hithertofore unacknowledged obsession with Hermione Granger.
Or, Draco has couvade syndrome (the magical version!) thrust upon him.

If Severus Snape had more than a token amount of control over his own life, he would not have chosen to relive 1991, and he certainly would have appreciated being allowed the luxury of his own body. However, since this was the situation he found himself in, he was hell bent on making the best of it. On the whole, he expected he’d do a better job of it than Potter, and why not? After all, as a fully trained wizard with a mastery in potions, nearly two decades experience in espionage, and knowledge of the future — he’d certainly expect to do better than an arrogant teenager more focused on quidditch than his responsibilities.
In which Severus Snape learns that being The Boy Who Lived is rather more difficult than he would have expected and he overthinks everything because being a ten-year-old is boring.

“Who’s that teacher talking to professor Quirrell?”
“Oh, you know professor Quirrell already do you? No wonder he’s looking so nervous, that’s professor Evans, the potions mistress. Don’t get on her bad side, the old hag hates students.“
Harry looked again, but the teacher was no longer looking at him. Still, Harry could not escape the nagging feeling, which he had gotten just from a glimpse of her eyes and the cruel twist of her lips, that professor Evans did not like him very much.
