“You remember him,” Chit Sang sounded surprised.
“I remember all of their names,” Zuko admitted. While he was on the ship, his father had sent him every death certificate from the 41st division. There was never any other note, no words from the Fire Lord, just a piece of paper with the name, age, and rank of the soldier who died. Zuko had kept every single one on his ship, reading over every single one and committing their names to his memory. He couldn’t stop them from dying, but they were what motivated him to keep moving, to get back his honor so that he could help prevent deaths like theirs.

Unknowingly, Zuko had become a beacon of hope to those in the Fire Nation whose family had perished in the needless war, to the people who wished for a Fire Lord who will fight for their people instead of power. Summary
Zuko had never excelled at anything. Azula was a prodigy. Uncle always knew what to say. And Father... Father was strong, iron-like. But Zuko had only ever been good at surviving. Putting one foot in front of the other in a grim show of stubborn determination, gritting his teeth and bearing it. Survival was all he had ever been taught. He knew how to do it. So when he was kidnapped by the Southern Water Tribe, he expected to fight as he always had. He didn’t expect to be taught instead how to live.
In a warring land, the Water Tribe forgave the enemy in an act of defiance. For this, he was torn from them, and this time, his wounds won't heal so easily.
Forced back into nothing but survival, the last person Zuko expected to see was Hakoda's son. Hakoda was a promise of safety. The relentless blue of Sokka’s eyes was a promise of happiness. Zuko could have both if he just reached out his hands, but he found them clutching into fists. After all, he’d been burned one too many times.
But hey, at least between Hakoda and Sokka, Zuko could appreciate the family resemblance of pure, asinine stubbornness.

Summary
Dipper's having a bad body day and is not exactly cheered up by his Grunkle Stan's proclamation that the twins are joining him on another Family Road Trip through Oregon in order to pickup a new weather vane for the Mystery Shack. Although things do start to look up when it's revealed Ford will be joining them and Stanley tells the kids that they can each choose one attraction to stop at along the way. In fact to be completely fair, Dipper was having an alright time until Mabel pinned a guy to a target with a longbow.
Spiritual Sequel to 'Born to Bee Wild', can be read as a standalone fic. Tw for discussion of dysphoria and Body Image issues.

This is a (mostly) canon compliant character study fic that tells the events of Thor (2011), Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War from Loki's perspective. All violence, character deaths, and content warnings are because of events in canon.
This is a prequel fic to my time travel fix-it Snap Back to the Past AKA the Infinity Stones Decide to Adopt Tony Stark. This fic is a lot darker than Snap Back to the Past, which is a more light-hearted fix-it take, while this dives deeper into Loki's psychology. Hence, this fic has an M rating for its more violent and trauma-related themes, while Snap Back to the Past focuses more on the healing aspects and is lighter on angst.
