Summary
“If I gave Jackie a day of getting to have sex with me whenever she wants as a thank you for tidying the living room, I think she’d divorce me,” Hayden says.
“Nah, man, she’d kill you,” J. J. says, which is probably true.
Shane shrugs. “That sounds like a straight people problem.”
Hayden is truly glad that the times of Shane torturing himself by being in the closet are over. But. Well. This conversation is kind of making him miss those days.
---
Finally, after everything, Shane is a happily married man. Incredibly happily married. It only becomes a problem once he thinks it qualifies him to dispense relationship advice.
Or, five times Shane gives relationship advice his friends disagree with, and one time he doesn’t.

"Ilya has been secretly slipping estrogen into Shane’s morning smoothie over the span of months.
Shane notices his chest has filled out a little bit more and a little bit softer than normal. He frowns as he looks in the mirror, wondering if he’s gained weight.
Ilya stands in the bathroom doorway, leaning on the door frame. Shane notices and looks at him with his upset kitten face, pouting his lips.
“Ilya…have I gained weight?” Shane looks so sad, it breaks ilya’s heart.
“No, котёнок, why would you think that? You look the same. My perfect солнышко.”
“I don’t know. It’s weird. It’s like I gained weight only in my chest.” Shane’s eyebrows furrowed, looking like he’s trying to solve a complex math equation.
Ilya forced himself not to smirk when he realizes what Shane’s talking about. His plan is working."

Ilya forcefems Shane by making him grow a pair of perfect tits for him to play with.

“Ilya?” Scott answers his phone automatically, knowing that Ilya would only ever call if something is wrong. “Is everything okay, kid?” There’s a loud sniffle on the other end that jolts him awake.
“Scott,” Ilya's voice breaks, “can you come pick me up?”
He’s already out of bed, waking up Kip with his movements. “I’m coming, where are you?”
“The roof of the hotel.”OR
Feeling utterly worthless and terrified of facing the prospect of an engaged Shane Hollander at All Stars, Ilya finds himself sitting on the roof of his hotel. Instead of jumping, he calls Scott Hunter.

Harris: So, you know that cooking video I had Troy and Shane make?
Ilya: Yes?
Harris: It's genuinely one of the most painful things I've ever seen on camera.
Harris: Like I've seen horror movies that made me feel more at ease than this.
Ilya: Were you expecting anything less?
Ilya: They are the biggest disasters we know.
Ilya: **Affectionate**
Harris: I mean, I guess I was just hoping it'd be super cute, you know?
Harris: Two buff gay elite jocks cooking chicken parm? You can't go wrong, right?
Ilya: Except when your two buff gay elite jocks cooking chicken parmesan are Shane 'small talk is a disease' Hollander and Troy 'awkward is a lifestyle' Barrett.
Harris: Yeah, I should have known.
Harris: This is what I get for being an optimist.
Harris: And a greedy gay man who wants to edit videos of hot men cooking good food.
Harris: Want to do a voice over for me so maybe I can salvage this?
Ilya: Of course.
Ilya: Any parameters?
Harris: Oh, you know. Just don't embarrass me too much.
Ilya: Send it to me and I will get it done ❤️

Summary
Shane has a soulmark just like most people, but he doesn’t think about it too often. He’ll probably meet his soulmate in his thirties, then get married or something. It’s usually how it happens. It just doesn’t matter right now. The only thing that matters is hockey.
So when he spots a very familiar symbol in a locker room at eighteen years old, things kind of fall apart. It wasn’t supposed to happen this way.

Ilya had been covering his soul mark for so long he sometimes forgot it was there. He covered it with an adhesive patch, one of the fancy ones made exactly for covering soul marks, and was careful to never let his teammates see it after a shower. They wouldn’t look, anyways. Everyone knows the rules of the locker room. No trying to see your teammate’s dicks or soul marks.

Summary
Shane’s immediate reaction is to say that he doesn't know when it started. He doesn’t know who his soulmate is. This is what he’s been telling himself for years, because if he stops for more than a second to think about how long he's been collecting little pieces of Ilya Rozanov, he thinks he'll spiral out of control.
He'll hit the deck like a firecracker dropped unceremoniously onto the sidewalk, burning wildly and spiralling haphazardly, until he's fizzled out with nothing left to show for himself but smoke, ashes, and the knowledge that his soul is bound to Rozanov's.

Summary
Rose just scoffs silently and shakes her head. “Forget it, Shane. That’s Ilya Rozanov.” At Shane’s raised eyebrows and another, slightly stronger, shove with his elbow, Rose begrudgingly elaborates. “He’s the captain of the hockey team, pretty well-known on campus. And the one thing everyone knows is that the moment you want him, you've already lost.”
Shane frowns, leaning in a bit closer to his friend. “What does that even mean? Is he taken?” he questions, annoyed but still curious.
“Nah, he’s a weirdo,” Rose giggles, stifling the sounds behind her hand when a shush sounds from behind them. “Rozanov loves the chase. He’s got a thing for people who don’t want him, but the moment they show interest back and let him hit he gets bored and moves on. I swear he has some issues he needs to go to therapy for, ‘cause that’s just not normal.”
-
Or; Shane wants Ilya Rozanov, so he devises a plan to get him. He takes it way too fucking far. Ilya takes it even further.
