The gasp pulled itself from Five’s throat before he even realized that he was still alive, the pain flaring in his abdomen the only thing he registered for a few moments. Warm blood soaked through his clothes, steaming in the artificial winter air as he bled out, eyes shooting open only to stare up at the dusty rafters of the barn above him.
“Oh good!” Came the cheerful chirp from the Handler, her footsteps crunching over straw and rapidly melting snow. “You’re still alive.” He could hear the smile in her voice, the playful cadence leaping into her voice as she stalked over to his half-dead body. The gun in her hands swung like nothing more than a toy, some kind of doll, or even a fake pony on a leash.

There’s a chance that he was hallucinating, and maybe he’s just desperate enough to hallucinate his dead brother moving, but he could swear that it was real. He could swear that he saw Klaus twitch and–
Klaus blinks.
Five knows, for absolutely certain this time, that he didn’t hallucinate that.
“Klaus…?” His voice is small. Tiny, even, when he forces his brother’s name out. He waits. He waits for a long minute, and there’s nothing. No more movement. No words. No breath. Nothing. Five thinks he must be losing his mind already. Finding the bodies of his siblings – sans Ben and Vanya – must have done more damage quicker than he thought. He must be desperate. Hallucinating. He must be–
Then Klaus gasps.

“His mind,” Raven explained. “And we need to do it now. This witch is an incredibly powerful sorceress. If we delay much longer, he may sink too deep to be woken.”
He wasn’t prepared for Raven to turn piercing eyes towards him. “It has to be you.”

Summary
Enthralled with the idea of Danny from Danny legit dies and has a physical corpse but can still kinda be human au and the Winchesters from just regular canon bumping into each other while... hiding bodies.
Three teens carrying a fourth by his arms and legs into the woods. Would they even be able to tell that it’s Danny’s corpse? It’s gotta be pretty much cooked through at that point. Hold on, I’m going to write something rq, apologies for any mistakes/bad writing but the concept is just too fun. If you think so too, go ahead and try your hand at it, this has so many excellent interpretations.
Edit but not really cuz I haven’t actually posted anything yet: I’ve only read back through this once but I’m pretty happy with how it’s turned out, just wanted to add a quick warning for horrific death and descriptions of a corpse and all that.

The new villain Veritas turned towards Bruce, syringe out and pointed towards the arm chained to his podium.“NOW! Under the compulsion of the serum, expose your true feelings: Tell the world what you hate the most about: Nightwing.”
Dick froze—every argument, every accusation thrown between the two running through his mind. He wasn’t sure if he could take it—to hear it spoken truthfully and directly. Hearing all of Bruce’s hatred, contempt, and disappointment in him poured out not just in a heated yelling match in the cave but in front of Damian, in front of the whole world.
Bruce coughed, blood flicking from his lips from a failed attempt to bite his tongue, and Dick hung his head in resignation. It was at least nice to know Bruce wasn’t eager to dump out his true feelings.
“His suit.” Bruce choked, and the room went silent.

But no, what convinced him he’s in a different dimension are the ghosts. They’re nothing like the ghosts from the infinite realms, more like stereotypical ghosts kids who were raised normally believe in. The ones no one can see except in the flickering of lights, something falling when it shouldn’t, a strange noise or even sometimes a shadowy figure.
But not for Danny, cause of course he can’t be normal. To him these ghosts look like every other living person around him.

Danny gets trapped in the DC universe, specifically Gotham, and decides since he can see ghosts here he may as well use it.
