Summary
Time and space are fraying at a rate humanity cannot control. Edward Teach and his infamous salvage crew are hired to venture into deep space, far beyond the borders of charted space, in an attempt to discover the cause of the Collapse and prevent reality from ending altogether. After all, they're just a salvage crew - expendable, easy to replace. All Ed knows is that he isn't getting paid enough to investigate this anomaly. His crew, on the other hand, isn't getting paid enough to put up with his violent mood swings and increasingly reclusive behavior. Those on the crew who know their Captain feel as though there's something more to it, though - something more to everything.
Including the strange man who keeps showing up in Ed's dreams.
