He did not sign up for a weirdly intelligent cat that has a quirk that can erase other quirks.

    Shouta determines that the kid has potential, and he's not going to let it go to waste. Even if All Might was also trying to make the boy into his successor.

    Or Izumi is a gun for hire with socializing problems and crows as her only friends, incredible aim, and an unnatural ability to create her own support items that shakes up the Underground, while Izumi still searching herself and how to connect to others, be it fellow villains, crows, friends, engineers.

    Kyojuro sighs softly, amused. It was exactly something Tomioka would do, standing in the rain like this. He thinks for a moment, before bringing his cape up to shield him from the storm. It’s not much, but it’s the best he can do. He’d much prefer it if Tomioka didn’t get sick. The position forces Tomioka a bit closer to him, his body brushing against Kyojuro’s arm. The man does his best to compose himself before he speaks, face warm.

    “We should find some shelter! I’m unfamiliar with this area, and quite frankly, I have no idea where the next village is! My crow is having a hard time with this rain!” The blonde glances around at their environment. The path is lined on either side with forests, the rain loudly pattering against the leaves that fail to canopy them. He turns back to Tomioka, who’s gaze finds its way to the floor as soon as Kyojuro’s gaze is back on him.

    Setting down his mug, Izuku folded one leg over the other and glared at Giran with shameless hostility.

    Izuku dragged himself to his desk, tore it apart until he found the paint set his mother had bought him to shut him up on his last birthday. He found an old canvas in the corner and wiped the dust off. He turned the light on, and he put brush to canvas, and he let that pain flow into the colors. Izuku let the ache in his bones, the searing red coating his throat all dribble across the canvas like the blood that he continued to cough up, splattering his desk.
    Minutes or hours later, it was dark outside his window and the glow of his desk lamp was the only light in the whole apartment. He stood up, covered in red and green, black and white. He’d sobbed the pain and emotion from his body but not through tears. His fingers were coated in paint and he felt…better.

    Izuku’s breath caught in the lowest part of his chest, nearly making him choke. Katuski’s words weren’t spoken in Japanese, or even in English, the two main languages of their company. He spoke in Persian, a long dead dialect, too. Izuku understood him perfectly. It wasn’t his mother tongue, and honestly Izuku didn’t even remember which was his first language anymore. No one alive (minus a few very skilled scientists) could translate, let alone speak ancient Persian this well. The only way to get the accent and inflection correct was to live it.  But it wasn’t just the language, Katsuki was reciting a poem that Izuku knew had burned in the library of Alexandria.

    Izuku huffed a sigh as he wiped sweat from his brow with a gym towel. Working out was one of the most relaxing parts of his day, or it usually was. Today, he couldn't shake the damn migraine brewing behind his eyes, and every bone in his body was buzzing with OFA.
    The only thing keeping him from being able to truly unwind was the squawking howl of an aggressive blonde shouting at Kirishima about every little thing he did. Did Izuku know that Katsuki was right and Kirishima was relying too heavily on his quirk to avoid gym injuries instead of using proper form? Yes.
    Did that stop him from being fucking annoyed that Katsuki wouldn't shut the hell up?
    No.

    OR: Izuku tries to get Katsuki to shut the hell up, it leaves an impression, and Izuku decides to act on it later, when no one's looking. He just wanted silence, but the sound of Katsuki's screams aren't so bad, after all.

    “It won’t get wasted if you do well,” Hitoshi sing-songs in a rough voice. He hits the nail right on the head. Like a switch flipped, Izuku jumps in place, the bark tearing from his throat excited and sharp. The chain chimes in time with the little huffs he makes.

    Just a healthy dose of Izu being needy, Toshi telling everyone what to do, and Shouto being caught inbetween.
