Chuuya sank lower into the plastic chair. “I bombed the last quiz,” he admitted. “… And the test before that. But I swear I’ve been—”
“But you still need a C to stay eligible for your team. And if you want to stay in your major at all, you’ll need a B.”
He already knew this. Coach had told him the same thing two days ago. ‘One more failed test and you’re benched. Permanently.’
“So what?” Chuuya asked. “I’m getting dropped?”
“We’re assigning you a tutor,” she said instead. “You’ll meet once or twice a week until your grade improves.”
Chuuya blinked. “A tutor.”

"I wish you'd met me sooner, too... Kiss it better?"Dazai's a mortician having a shit day after witnessing a messy traffic accident that's left him with gory visions and flashbacks that feel unaccountably like memories. He leaves the morgue early to go out for a drink, and meets a stranger that knows too much about him, but it turns Dazai on too much to care.
When he wakes up the next morning with a hangover and no idea how he got home or whether or not he just lost his virginity, the strange flashbacks grow worse, and he starts to wonder whether or not that stranger he met last night was really a stranger, and whether or not he's forgotten much, much more than just how he got home.

Chuuya ran a hand down his face, one eye closed and the other glaring at him in exasperation. “Can you send me back?”
Dazai nodded. Very reasonable question. “…Not quite.”
Or: Dazai accidentally casts a half-finished god-summoning spell. Believing it to have failed, he continues his attempts out of curiosity but only ever summons one little redhead.
