life was just a series of instances, choices made, or layed aside. do you walk to work and take in some fresh air, or do you get to work early by the bus and maybe get that sweet sweet promotion? choices... options. funny how for one Daniel "Danny" James Fenton, or maybe unfunny, he didn't have that, he didn't have a choice, there was no option, exposed as "Phantom" to his parents wasn't the worst thing, no... maddie selling him to the GIW may have been the worst, but again no, the "Worst" was what this nice guy with the red funky helmet and protective vibes just rolling off him walked into, how does one explain away being a human guinea pig?
Jason was not having a good time... and he sincerely doubted that this kid was either, now how to make that the Scientist problem?

At first Luciana had been set on turning around on her heels and leaving immediately again. But something about the way he was sitting alone on those stairs had made her stop in her tracks, leading her to approach him instead. She took in a sharp breath when she saw the expression on his face. Over the years she had seen all kinds of emotions on the God of Mischief’s face - sadness, happiness, anger, annoyance etc.. But not once had Luciana ever seen the kind of devastation that he currently displayed. His eyes were completely blank, staring at the empty space in front of him. Not a hint of the mischievous spark that normally shined in them. He just stared ahead, completely detached from his environment. As if he was completely… broken.

This is basically a retelling of the movies with my OC inserted in the story. It generally follows the canon flow, but obviously there will be differences. It's also completely self-indulgent, cringe and most likely OOC.

(Basic premise of the AU is someone on the other side pulls a Loki before Loki is old/angry/powerful enough to do it, and adventures ensue. Some inspiration for teenaged prince characterization comes from Tales of Asgard and the rest of this weirdness is my fault.)
