”Really? Where? Show me, show me where it says that!” The other boy scooted his chair over so he was right next to Harry, peering into the cup himself with round, anxious eyes. Merlin, was he really buying this?

Summary
Harry has been kidnapped. His life hangs by a very thin thread, and that thread is that he knows the full prophecy about him and Voldemort. As long as he can resist Voldemort, he’ll live… The odds are, in other words, not in his favour.
Voldemort knows he’ll break Harry eventually, but things take a turn when prying into Harry’s mind leaves him with more questions than answers. Only two things are clear: one, the prophecy might not be his biggest problem, and two, Harry Potter can never be allowed to leave.
A story about fate and control, and the repercussions of trying to defy destiny.

When Harry first arrives at Hogwarts from the Dursleys’, it feels like paradise. Like a walled garden kept safe and secret from the rest of the world, with as much food as he wants and warm, comfortable beds and green as far as they eye can see outside his window. The people here even remind him a little of animals, the way the students move from place to place like a school of fish or a flock of birds.
He’s sorted into Ravenclaw, the House of Knowledge. Which fits him perfectly because wants to spend all seven years reading every book in the library, there’s just so much to learn.
In which Harry is Eve, Quirrellmort is somehow both Adam and the Serpent, and the author is sleep deprived.

The sound of children crying in the forests around Wool's Orphanage isn't anything new.
The wings, however, are something unexpected.
The drying blood was tacky under the thin leather soles of his shoes. “My name is Father Riddle,” Tom offered casually after a minute or so.
“Father?” The young man glanced up, and Tom was once again bowled over by the force of that bewitching gaze. He’d never encountered anything like the vivid green of those eyes before; it was like seeing in color for the first time and something clenched, low and hot, in the pit of Tom’s stomach as the winged boy gave Tom his undivided attention for the first time.
“You’re a member of the clergy?” The boy whispered, his eyes fastened on the collar around Tom’s neck.
“So they tell me,” Tom said, smiling warmly. Tentatively, the teenager tried to smile back. “You can just call me Tom, if you’d like.”

Hunger, hunger, hunger, hunger — Tom’s one and only faithful companion, the vehemency that has pushed him into pursuing his every ambition with a tormenting thirst all these years. Hunger for control, for dominance, hunger for enslavement, devotion, power. Among the many things Tom would spend hours scrutinising and reading into and unraveling to possess its knowledge like its legitimate owner, hunger was not one of them — he knows it like the back of his hand, recognises its nature because it’s eroded in his bones, it calls to him.
There isn’t a type of hunger that has not gnawed at his skin, in one way or another.
