Summary
Los Angeles – the city of angels, fast cars and tough cops. And in the middle of it all: Brian O’Conner.
He was still a police officer. Tanner was still his superior. And Dominic Toretto and his team? They weren’t the truck robbers they were thought to be. Brian had told them the truth, had revealed himself to them. And instead of rejecting him, they had taken him in.
Now he was leading a double life: during the day he was still a cop, albeit one of the most sarcastic the LAPD had ever seen. But at night? He was part of the family – Toretto’s crew, a circle of racers, mechanics and adrenaline junkies who knew the streets just as well as he did.
And what he didn’t know: this family was listening to him damn closely.

Summary
(Takes place after Stay beside me)
Even if they can’t be together openly, with the racing scene unprepared for two of its most famous figures—both men—to be in a relationship, Brian’s heart feels full and happy. He’s still a bit scared when girls are around Dom, but he trusts him.
Then a girl reappears in Dom's life, a girl who’s been in his crew before Brian came along, who’s been racing, stealing, and who is an absolute sunshine.
She’s Brian, but better. And Brian feels like dying inside.

Summary
“I’m fine, Soap,” Ghost assures as if he can read Soap’s mind. “Johnny, hey. Look at me.”
Soap turns his head to look at Ghost and catches his eyes. The dullness is gone, replaced by warmth and caring that Soap rarely sees in Ghost’s gaze. He feels scrutinized under that gaze, judged for all of his tiny actions. Tiny actions that saved Ghost’s life. He bites his lip again but Ghost’s hand comes up, gloved fingers pressing against his bottom lip until he releases it.
Soap stops breathing.
“Don’t do that. You’ll hurt yourself,” Ghost whispers.
Or,
Ghost gets shot in the field and needs an immediate blood transfusion. Soap is more than willing to share his blood with the Lieutenant.
