Summary: Arthur and Merlin had been inseparable for as long as anyone could remember... until they weren't. None of their friends could figure out what happened. Only Arthur and Merlin knew the truth and they remained stubbornly tight lipped about it. Now the two former friends are forced into close proximity with one another. Years have passed, but have their feelings for one another changed since then?
Inspired by Taylor Swift's song "This Love."
The entire story has been written, but will be uploaded sporadically in 4 chapters because it's just easier for me to edit that way. It's nearly 20k words. There will be a 5th bonus chapter that takes place before the main story. TW: There is a scene where someone has a severe allergic reaction and goes to a hospital.

Summary
Merlin loves Arthur. Arthur loves Merlin. Gwen loves Lance. Lance loves Gwen. Gwaine loves Merlin. This wouldn't be that big of a problem except Arthur and Gwen are married. It's messy.
After Arthur marries Gwen, Merlin confesses the long unrequited love he has for Arthur. Your best mate’s wedding was as good a time as any for a love confession, right? Turns out it isn't so unrequited after all. This sets off a chain of misery over the coming months as Arthur and Merlin try to avoid temptation and hurting the people they love.

Will these two idiots in love finally express their feelings for one another or will it all go up in flames?

This is a prequel to my story Favorite Mistake. They do not get together at the end of this story, but they will at the end of Favorite Mistake. I don't like sad endings, but this was unavoidable and is it really the end? No. :)

Summary
Merlin’s Clan is a very traditional one. That’s why Arthur hadn’t seen his chosen Omega but for a couple of times, always in extremely controlled situations, and Merlin had crossed only a few shy words with him. Now that Merlin is in heat, they are going to tie the knot (pun intended), and Arthur is not sure what to expect of this night. Despite having been raised with certain customs, Arthur had never seen a ritual like this.
