Merlin felt like he was floating. He could die right now and he would be happy. The last two weeks had been difficult to say the least. Going through a bond break was tough but going through one and not mating immediately was almost torture. He had the option to wait until Arthur was home, to then head to the hospital and mate with his omega at the same time however…he just couldn’t bring himself to do it like that.
