“Just a little bit,” Eddie found himself saying while making a pinching motion, if only because part of him particularly enjoyed getting a rise out of Steve if given the opportunity.

Summary
His mind summons up the memory of Impulse and Skizz explaining how their soulbond works, and he freezes, grip tightening on his mug as the gears in his mind turn. That can’t be it, right? They had to do some sort of complicated ritual-ification to link their souls together, and Tango’s pretty sure he would’ve noticed if he’d gotten involved in a ritual in his sleep. Probably.
Or : Somehow, Zedaph and Tango end up with their souls magically tied to Impulse and Skizz, and Tango has a harder time than usual ignoring his feelings for them.

He needs to find his date.
So, Tango isn't actually sure of who he's looking for. Pearl sent him on a blind date with someone she's personally arranged for him.
He doesn't even have a vague description of her to make sure he doesn't walk up to a full-on stranger. Actually, he doesn't even know if it's a girl he's been set up with. Is it rude to assume a girl is his date? Pearl knows he's bi, so it could be a guy.
That doesn't do anything for his dilemma though. Tango sighs, if anything it makes it worse—
In his scan over the café's tables, Tango's eyes instinctively linger on curly blonde hair and tan skin, that he knows, recognises. He's walking over, feet quickly moving, before he knows it, smiling.
"Zed!" he exclaims.
{or Zedaph and Tango get set up on a first date together, unknowingly, and it ends... pretty good.}

Summary
Zed's life is relatively normal, all things considered. He runs a coffee shop with his best friends, Impulse and Skizz, and spends his nights testing out crazy ideas and experiments.
Everything's normal- right up until Tango walks in.
Zed's a little smitten with the new regular at the shop, but things seem to be getting weirder the longer he hangs around. As tensions continue to build and strange things continue to happen, Zed's going to learn quite a lot about his friends- and himself.
Assuming he survives it, of course.

He'll have to confront Tango about all the running he always has to do in his games, and Hungry Hermits is in a kitchen for goodness sake! Does the blazeborn understand how hot it gets in those? (No he doesn't, do you think the man cooks anything besides pancakes on the rare occasion? Oh, and Tango can't really feel it.)
... Speaking of the man.
Zed sighs and rubs his hand on his friend's back comfortingly. He looks down at his friend's dim hair and slack back when that soft action melts the man into his stomach, the other pressing closer at his slightest suggestion of doing so. Tango apparently pliant under all of his touch.
(Best not to dwell too much on that, yeah? It won't help Zed's mindset very much.)

Mumbo doesn’t say anything for a moment, and Grian doesn’t look at him - until a hand gently clasps over his shoulder. “Things do change,” he starts. “We’re both growing as people, Grian, and you’re dealing with memory loss and the things the Watchers have done with you. And it’s not always going to be easy.”
“Comforting,” he mutters, and the hand tightens ever so slightly - not painfully so, just added pressure.
“It doesn’t mean it’s going to change for the worse, mate.” Mumbo squeezes his shoulder once more, before letting go.
Or: Grian and Mumbo have finally been reunited after being torn apart - but they have a lot to learn after almost three years of being separated, and Grian has to figure out just where his place is among the Hermits.

For a moment, Crowley thought that She wouldn’t answer. He’d already gotten more than one question answered today, and that was more than he ever thought he’d get.
Just when he was least expecting it, God spoke again.
“IF I DID THAT, IT WOULDN’T BE HIS CHOICE, WOULD IT?”
Crowley shrugged concedingly. She had a point there, he supposed.

Crowley has a second chance to get Aziraphale back. Or rather, seven chances. He just needs to pick the right moment in their shared past where he'll be able to convince Aziraphale to stay with him instead of going to Heaven. Simple enough, right?

Aziraphale looks at Crowley, the beloved furrow of his brow, the way his lips – made for smiling, for laughter, for that indulgent smile when he does something miraculous just to bring Aziraphale joy – twist downward, at the tension in his slender limbs. Most arresting: the saltwater in his yellow eyes, the mist, the ache. They have been here six thousand times, almost: at the eclipse of their orbit, when they are so close they can almost touch, before they move apart again, before one begins to crest and the other to fall away.
Aziraphale takes a deep breath, and releases it slowly through his nose. No more gravity; no more orbit. In the free fall, the same old laws of motion no longer apply.
“Then come with me,” he says.

Aziraphale didn’t understand why Crowley kept staring. Oh, he’d always been a wonderful listener, of course. He’d joined Aziraphale for countless lunches and dinners over the centuries, following along, nodding or tossing in a question at all the right places, at least seeming to make eye contact from behind the dratted glasses. It was one of the touchstones of their relationship, that Crowley was a good listener.
Or — their friendship. Yes. Absolutely that. “Relationship”, really, what a foolish slip of thought.
(Ever since the world didn't end, Aziraphale feels like Crowley has been acting strangely. He certainly can't figure out why!)
