Summary
When Sabo first meets Monkey D Luffy, the operation to Dressrosa has gone to shit and he is completely out of options. Desperate, he decides to put his trust in the infamous captain, not realising just what this might unleash. He gains a Devil Fruit and a heavy legacy in exchange and while everyone expects him to chase after the potential power, Sabo finds himself gravitating towards a more familial connection.
AKA The one where Sabo never gains his memories back.
Not that he needed them the first time around when he exchanges sake with two other boys. He certainly doesn't need his memories to start worrying over a boy that should actually be his Boss' responsibility.

Summary

This is a retelling of Transformers: Rescue Bots with a (hopefully) more mature and realistic theming given to their story. My goals here are to unwrap some topics mentioned in the original show that weren't elaborated on in depth due to the show's age rating, and to simply provide a concrete story and timeline to a transformers au that has been brewing in my head for a long time. -

Atreus knows not what to do when faced with the reality that he'd somehow managed to place himself in his father's homeland, far before his father's path intercrossed with his mother's, and far before the melody of his own life began. Even less does Atreus know how to interact with his younger-lived father that he meets when he arrives, especially when the man is bringing about extreme chasms of destruction and war to his land, as well as seeming to be in large amounts of emotional anguish. But yet, he was still his father, and Atreus wouldn't ever leave his side, different or no, whether this father cared about him or no, because the boy cared for him, cared that he was hurting.
Far beyond what Atreus would have imagined, partly in thanks to how much his father despises his past and self, his younger father showed that he very strongly shared the sentiment. But the journey isn't easy, being flung back and forth between what is and what used to be by his own powers against his will, and learning more about his father and his past than he could've ever fathomed. Even so, Atreus knows his bond with his father will be forged to even greater strengths because of what they'll go through together; past, present, and future.

At the question (or maybe just Nami, a reprieve from talking to Zoro—who he's still vaguely afraid of) Usopp perks up. “Kind of! I mean, yeah—the big Sun God in the Trench. But also the sea gods themselves, and the missing Moon God—it’s a whole thing,” he says, waving his hands as Nami crosses the deck, book tucked under her arm. Usopp trails off again but she gestures him onward and plops next to Zoro, dangling her feet over the open water, too.
“Go on,” she says.
He stares at them both before letting out a strangled kind of, “Do you actually want to know?”
Zoro and Nami exchange a look. “We have a keen interest in the local wildlife,” Zoro drawls, and Nami snorts out a laugh. The sound startles Usopp, who might be one of the most skittish people Zoro has ever met—second only to Koby, maybe.
Nami elbows Zoro in the side, trying (and failing) to hide her smile as he flips her the middle finger in return. “Local legends, then,” she amends.

Summary
Portgas D. Ace could not save his little brother, Luffy, from the necrotic virus. Yet, when the boy wakes up—eyes white, cold and silent—he still only wants to hug Ace. As they shelter in an abandoned corporate tower, Ace will do anything to keep his secret safe. The terrifying realisation? The other infected do not attack them, but they flee.
Luffy's dark power guarantees they're safe from the swarm, but it makes them a target for humanity. Their path intersects with the last vestiges of civilisation, and Ace realises surviving the plague might be easier than protecting his little brother from the desperate, unforgiving living.

In a world where dungeon exploration is rampant, many hope to find the mysterious Great Kingdom located in one particular dungeon named Island Dungeon. Among these adventurers is the Straw Hat Party. Named after their leader, Luffy, they seemed to be promising candidates to find the Great Kingdom, despite their oddness.Allied with the party led by Trafalgar Law, they manage to reach the deeper levels of the dungeon. But when Luffy is eaten by a Red Dragon and Law teleporting the rest out (not) under his orders, it did seem all hope was lost. With a new makeship party consisting of himself, Nami, Usopp and Law, Zoro hopes to rescue his captain before he is digested. With no supplies and time on the line, the party takes it upon themselves to...eat monsters for sustenance, much to the protest of Usopp and Nami.

The mountain bandits he lived with didn't seem to care what he did one way or another unless it was affecting them. That was fine with him. He had more important things to do than worry about a bunch of humans. It's a measured distance. One he maintained pretty easily... most of the time. Then he came along. Some dumbass spinel that demanded he be called "Luffy." And everything just went downhill from there.
Being alone was starting to get A LOT harder with that dirtwad around.

Or: A One Piece Fix-it AU where instead of just chucking his vivre card at Luffy and leaving, Ace also makes a vivre card for Luffy. Unfortunately for Ace, Luffy is a chaotic menace who can't stay out of trouble. Ace has a crewmate killer to catch, but he can't seem to get three feet away before Luffy's vivre card bursts into flames and does the weirdest shit imaginable. Needless to say, his revenge quest against Blackbeard is side tracked.

Tiny fireworks.
He shakes his head and more drops hit the ground and it makes his head spin and somewhere deep down a high pitched voice tells him to stop, to not make it worse, but there are such pretty fireworks all around him now and the fish stop swimming and look down at him and he raises his arms and tells them to come down, come down, watch the fireworks with me!
But the fish only stare, swimming in place, their fins going back and forth and forth and back.
Boring fish.
