Lord Voldemort rose from the cauldron, reborn once more. He looked towards his so called conquer then stooped shocked, this? This was the boy-who-lived? This tiny skinny little child? Where was the pampered Prince? The Gryffindor golden boy? This was not what he expected at all.
When Voldemort is reborn at the end of Harry’s fourth year, he is surprised at the sight of the tiny malnourished child glaring defiantly up at him. Instead of attacking he sets out to understand who exactly this child is and why he feels such a pull towards him. Harry on the other hand is completely overwhelmed as the foretold evilest of all evil ends up giving him better care and treatment then he every received from the Light. Summary
The Blacks want to marry off their youngest child. He begs Sirius for help and tells him a secret: He is a man and would rather die than be forced to be anyone's wife.
Panicked, Sirius arranges a marriage between his brother and his friend James Potter, knowing that Regulus can be the man he is in the English countryside on James' estate.James wants to ensure Regulus' happiness, even at the expense of putting his life on hold for a while.
Regulus wants to ensure James doesn't fall into societal ruin because of him.
Sirius wants to be loved.
Barty must decide whether he wants to keep causing destruction or choose redemption.
And Remus is just a very tired butler who watches James and Regulus dance around their actual feelings (literally).(Trans Reggie; set in the Victorian Age, 1890s. No horrible homophobia or transphobia depicted. Dysphoria is thematised.)

Especially when her daughter seems to love Hermione just as much as she starts to realise she does. Fleur finds it all increasingly agreeable to her.
If only her family would stop making such a big deal of it. Well her family and her late husband’s family… and the magical media, and that idiot ex husband of her lover’s. If only everyone would be so good as to stop trying to get in the middle of her relationship with their unwanted opinions. Summary
Death was not what Harry thought it would be. An empty train and a being proclaiming himself to be the Death, telling him that, “sorry, no afterlife for you” certainly wasn't anywhere near his expectations.
And having his soul and magic crammed back into his four year old body, being told that he can never die… That was another painful kick to the groin.
But Harry is British, and the phrase “keep calm and carry on” is practically a part of him by now. He realises that this is a second chance at life. To actually live and do whatever the hell he wants without being someone else’s pawn. It is a new beginning, and things are going to be vastly different this time around.

Summary
It took the drastic move of Harry cutting his hair and getting rid of his glasses before Severus could see anything else than a mini James. But once he did he realised that he was not the only one blinded to the boy.
The rest of the Wizarding world could only see the famed Boy-who-lived. Not the traumatised teen, with a far to heavy burden placed on his shoulders. With the clarity of his new sight he is horrified to see just how much the boy is suffering.

Harry isn’t the Boy-Who-Lived, but his parents still died, and Albus Dumbledore, concerned that Death Eaters might seek the boy’s death, cast a powerful charm on him to make wizards ignore him before Harry was left with the Dursleys. Except, with the Elder Wand in play, the charm was far too powerful, and made others essentially forget Harry existed when not directly interacting with him. Sorted into Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, Harry lives a contented life with no one either loving or hating him…until the charm breaks on his seventeenth birthday, and he’s suddenly plunged directly into the middle of a living world at war.
