“Hey, Vee,” Velvette swallows a chunk of steamed broccoli. “Have you seen Val recently?”
Vox shakes his head before breaking an egg roll in half. “No. He’s been holed up in his room for most of the day. After Angel left, he cancelled the rest of production for his new film and told me he was going to lie down.”
Velvette feels her right eye begin to twitch. Of course Vox would be absorbed in his work while Val is having an existential crisis. The fucking idiot should count his lucky stars that her arms aren’t long enough for her to be able to reach across the table and smack some sense into him.

Valentino stretches his arms over his head as he enters the kitchen, yawning. His robe is hanging loosely around him, and God, if Vox were to run his hand down his chest he could probably count all his ribs. He stops short when he sees the plates waiting for him on the counter. His eyes narrow. “The hell is this?”
“You know, most people would say thank you when their partner makes them breakfast,” Vox says dryly.
Vox tries to confront Valentino about his food issues. It goes as well as expected.

Vox had been having a rough few weeks. His rival, who he was madly in love with, humiliated him on Hell Wide TV, he realized his power was fully based off the leverage he had from other people, he lost his body, his approval was in the shitter, and he also maybe sorta tried killing everyone and himself with an angelic bomb.
On top of all that, his friends were running the company perfectly fine without him. They didn't need his help. All he was doing was dragging them down. But he could make it up to them.

Now they must stay under the watchful eyes of the Hazbin Hotel's staff in their human bodies and attempt to redeem themselves in order to win back their lost powers and be returned to their demon forms. What could possibly go wrong with that?
