Summary

Over the course of 2 years, they became significantly close friends, entrusting their pasts, personalities, and thoughts to each other, written or orally.
But now, Shinobu faces a dilemma that would once again make Giyuu believe he was unworthy of connection.
Mainly a retelling of the Infinity Castle Battle involving Douma, but Giyuu became involved in it.Also, an expansion of their relationship beyond what was shown in the manga and anime.

Kanzaburo was famous, or rather infamous, for being slower than most crows due to his age, yet he was very eager. One day he was particularly fast to send Tomioka Giyuu, the Water Hashira onto a mission.
The mission was located at Mount Kumotori at a small village; allegedly lots of people have been going missing near that area. Perhaps it'd be a Lower Moon. No big deal for a Hashira like Tomioka, even if he was the worst one of all of them.
Now something that was a challenge, even for the best of Hashira, was facing the demon king himself all alone.

I just wanted to make an alternate ending for Infinity Castle, where Shinobu and the other Hashira survive. I made an edit on Tiktok (brsuibian.marcell) about Tomioka saving Shinobu and decided to write a fanfic about it. The story won't be long, it will have some spoilers from the Demon Slayer manga and, of course, from the movie that just came out too. But I won't go into detail about the fights of the other Hashira, the focus will only be on Shinobu's fight with Douma and an alternate ending for her.
It's very likely that I won't kill the other Hashira either because, if I can save one, I can save them all. "Oh, but it wasn't like that in the original," too bad, "Oh, but what about this character's story?" Read the manga, "Oh, but they reunited," then the magic of the script comes to my aid, here reality can be whatever I want, and what I want is for my babies to be alive.And although it was clear in the TikTok edit where I polled whether you wanted me to write this story, I'll say it here too. YES, the fic is GIYUSHINO! Giyuu WILL end up with Shinobu, so if you don't like the pairing, it's best not to read it.

He can’t ignore the bait any longer. Muzan is practically forcing it into his mouth at this point; nobody can fault Tanjiro for biting.
“What I did,” Muzan begins with an unnerving sort of calm, “was achieve perfection.”
Kanao fails to administer the medicine in time, but Muzan's blood fails to take proper hold as well. Escaping from the battle scene, Tanjiro is stuck dealing with Muzan's spirit and finding a way to return home to his friends and family. Thankfully, he finds a little help from his friends; living ones not included.
While they’re at it, can someone please help him get rid of Kibutsuji’s ghost? Seriously. He’s getting annoying.

Tomioka and Shinobu love each other very much, and it shows in how they care for each other, be it a little weird but they're learning. And they themselves thought they were very open with their relationship.
"Why the fuck are you guys all touchy feely all of a sudden?" Shinazugawa says bluntly, breaking the silence in the room.
"I wouldn't phrase it like that but you guys have been very close recently." Kanroji says with a nervous smile.
"What do you mean? We've always been this close."
Shinobu chimes in after Tomioka, "It is normal for a married couple to be close, after all."
There was a brief silence before the room erupted in confusion and shouts, mainly from Shinazugawa.
"SINCE WHEN WERE YOU GUYS MARRIED!?!"
The two glanced at each other, maybe they weren't as open as they thought.
