Summary
Chasing down a lead on removing the Mark of Cain from Dean's arm, the Winchesters are caught in an ambush set by Metatron and his newly-recovered demon tablet. God's former scribe is determined to take Dean off the board before he "demons" up again and comes for revenge - and he traps Sam and Dean in Purgatory to make sure of it.
Now: it's open season on the Winchesters, and their old enemy Gordon Walker has amassed a faction of hunters-turned-monsters in Purgatory and is determined to end the Winchesters once and for all. Dean's struggling to control The Mark before it controls him (spoiler alert: doesn't go well) while Sam quickly discovers Purgatory is dangerous enough without suffering from acute bronchitis.

Now they have a home and base in Lebanon, smack dab in the middle of the country. (Literally.) They're officially locals. They just have a hard time remembering to be normal about it.

Summary
The year is 1924. Prohibition is in full swing, Nevada’s gambling ban is still being enforced, but in a post-war environment, skirts are short and good cheer is abundant.
Unless your name is Dean Winchester.
Eight months ago, Dean was put away for racketeering (read: illegal gambling) for working at an underground iteration of closed casino Hotel Nevada, and to make matters worse, his partner (and best friend) Cas Novak broke up with him via a letter halfway through his stint in prison. Back in Las Vegas, Dean’s looking for revenge: he knows that Alastair Cunningham, manager of Hotel Nevada, framed him, and the only solution seems to be doing a heist to rip Alastair off in return.
But there’s a bit of a problem: to make this scheme work, Dean’s going to have to enlist all his closest friends and family…and that includes Cas.

Summary
What starts as a relaxing beach vacation in Hawai’i turns into a journey of self-discovery for Castiel and Dean.
To save the world from the Darkness, they both faced what they thought to be their imminent demise and came out the other side very much still alive. So now they have to ponder the really big questions, such as what a bucket list is, what place in the world a fallen angel has, and how Indiana Jones ever managed to keep that hat on his head.
The island seems to have a way of making the barrier of touch crumble to dust until they're sliding toward the edge of something new and fragile between them that neither of them dares to put a name to, lest it might disappear.
When what really disappears is Castiel, there's very little Dean wouldn't do to get the angel back.

Summary
The men and monsters he was around were the types that had stalked him and his mother and had her killed. Alistar was the one that had hurt Dean in such a way that he refused to speak about it to anyone, including Sam. They found joy in hurting the other prisoners when they had done nothing wrong.
He may not have his powers, but that wouldn’t last as long as they hoped. He would keep his mouth closed and his head down, but he would not forget anything that they had done. He would wait for Sam, Dean and Castiel, but not forever. He couldn’t rely on them. Not now. He was on his own, so he needed to survive on his own.

Separated and injured, Sam, Dean, Castiel and Jack struggle in their attempts to reunite and to form a plan against King Lucien's attack on Moondor. With a new prophecy about to be revealed, they might stand a chance, but only if they survive long enough to find each other.
Sam struggles to heal inside and outside wounds, Dean tries to gather an army, Castiel is once again lost and wandering, and Jack is outnumbered 100 to 1. They are desperate for allies, and to have things back the way they were. But will that ever be possible again?

Summary
When they hear Sam's blood-curdling scream over the phone, Rowena is far more affected than she thought possible. She has to make up her mind whether or not to turn her back on the Winchesters in their dire need—and how far exactly she'll go to save them.
(Or my version of what happened in episode 12x11 between Sam's scream and the moment we see Dean wake up in the Impala, plus two additional new scenes at other blank spaces where the episode faded to black. And all of that from Rowena's point of view!)
