Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.

Li ‘Lonnie’ Lanying watched the Isle kids carefully.They were skinny, that was the first thing Lonnie had noticed about the new kids. The youngest boy, Carlos de Vil, was so small Lonnie almost couldn’t believe that he was old enough to attend Auradon Prep.
The second thing Lonnie noticed was how uncomfortable they were in this place. It made sense of course. They were the children of some of the darkest, and most evil villains the world had ever seen and they were put right in the middle of a school with their parent’s worst enemies. It had to be uncomfortable
The third thing that Lonnie noticed was how much everyone seemed to hate them. It was subtle, of course. No one wanted to draw the ire of Prince Ben by not supporting his first proclamation. Or rather they didn’t want to risk upsetting the prince and thus upsetting his father. No one was willing to upset the Beastly King.

The isle was always going to leave Mal and the others scarred and untrusting; they were always going to wash up on Auradon’s shores with more than a few haunting memories.
What if it was Evie’s hand Mal held at that coronation? What if Mal got Uma off the isle as soon as the coronation ended?
Mal and Evie slowly let themselves fall in love, old enemies slowly become friends and everyone’s scars start to heal… just in time for the Council of Heroes to condemn any more attempts to get the children off the isle.
They were always going to have to fight to get every kid off the isle, but Mal didn’t expect that she’d be fighting in an actual rebellion with her new friends from Auradon Prep.
Mal’s determined everyone gets to have a happily ever after. Whatever it takes. (It takes a lot)
