Eventually, Peter squeezed his eyes shut and laid back down on the mattress, head still pounding. The thought of Wade being back soon soothed him but also brought his eyebrows down together as the venom left a bitter taste on his mouth. Peter really wished he had bitten Wade earlier, if he knew this would happen. He thought he would be… okay with this? Wade had always hinted he wanted him, he had constantly made jokes about Peter biting him and how much Wade would love that. So why did he leave? Why did he run away? Why the hell did he go? Were all of those flirting he did and said were a bunch of bullshit? Peter shook his head in denial and cursed under his breath, letting his worries and anger fill his mind before slowly falling asleep.

A few years ago, if someone told Peter that one day he would want a baby, Peter would web them to the highest building in New York. He would feel that that person expected Peter to just settle down and get knocked up. Peter was the Amazing Spider-Man and this wasn’t going to apply to him. However, now when he found Wade he wasn’t against the idea like his younger self once was.
The problem was that it had been three years since they decided to have a child and Peter still showed no sign of pregnancy.
