When Newt accepted to become one of Harry Potter's secret guard as a favor to Albus Dumbledore, he hadn't anticipated being faced with a choice concerning the welfare and safety of a child: obey Albus Dumbledore's orders or stay at Voldemort's side to protect Harry.

This is a story about the Ancient and Most Noble House of Black, or at least what is left of it. In 1987, Cassiopeia Black receives a shocking letter about a metamorphic child, who may or may not be a Black. From there, House Black has a choice: come together and overcome their differences or fade into obscurity.
This is a slow-burn fic with a lot of politics and POVs from all Blacks (including the usually forgotten ones). This is the perfect fit for those who love the Blacks, extensive world-building, and captivating mystery.

On the 4th of March 2007, Magical Britain ceases to exist.Desperate to undo the damage, Harry travels back in time to prevent Voldemort's demise.
Only, things don't quite work out as intended, as he ends up being reborn in a world not entirely like his own with a tattoo of a red eye on the back of his hand.

It had been a mistake, but it was easily the worst one of Draco’s life. He might never be able to atone for it, but trying to started with this: keeping an unconscious Harry safe and protected from the outside world at Spinners End. Snape had warned him that after what had happened, Harry might never wake, and that if he did, he wouldn’t be the same. It didn’t matter to Draco though. As he turned to walk back to his mother a blur of red crashed in to him. It was Ron with Draco's wand in hand pointed at Harry. Next to him stood a smirking Hermione and before he could say a word, a flash of green hit him.

He locked eyes with Voldemort whose face shifted into a grimace—eyes narrowing, fury flaring. He’d worked it out.

The rest never reached him. Harry flashed his brightest smile to an enraged Dark Lord.
And stepped back into the arch.
