When Katara cracks an iceberg to find a Fire Nation boy, hers and Sokka's initial thoughts are that he's a spy sent to kill them.

It was like any other day after their mission. Gojo yawned as he swaggered slowly through the arcade, hands in his pockets. Shoko and Geto were a few paces behind him, both talking about something he had no interest in chiming in about.
“Boring,” he muttered as he turned into the aisle with the crane games. The techno colors from the machines flooded his vision, almost painfully, as he quickly readjusted his glasses. By the time he opened his eyes, he noticed a pink-haired plush face down that didn’t seem to lose its vibrant hue after fixing his dark glasses. He was surprised that the plush caused no additional irritation, like everything else. Different from all the other prizes in the machine. It was the first time he had ever been intrigued by the claw game machine.

And so as his feverish body was actively fighting his true instincts, those long fingers circled around his chin and forced him to look up, so he could have a better view of the trembling omega that had his scent-hound all confused, whining and with his tail between his legs.
"Interesting," the Head of the Gojo clan whispered. A slow, mischievous grin spread across his face, “Take the rest of the omegas to the royal harem’s quarters,” he ordered the trembling guards, and he felt the chill crippling his spine.

The sky above him is clear. No shattered buildings. No smoke. No stench of death poisoning the air. Wrong. This is all wrong. He takes a step forward.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
The voice stops him cold. A voice he hasn’t heard in months. One that he still mourned.
Slowly, he looks up.
Standing there, very much alive, is Satoru Gojo.
Ah, he thinks distantly.
I must be dead.“Nope, you’re very much alive...kinda.”
Right. Apparently he said that out loud. His thoughts are sluggish, breath coming short as his gaze shifts past Gojo and lands on another face.
A face he hates. A face that started everything.
Kenjaku.
He moves before thinking.
His fist slams into Kenjaku’s face with all the force he can muster.
“I will kill you,” he grits out.

Summary
After the fact, Satoru returned to look for the pink haired sorcerer.
He had thought at first that the sorcerer that saved him might have been an illusion. Something conjured up by his mind in his last moments, a handsome savior come to pull him out of the trenches and restore him to his glory. Except the boy was real, and he was lying right where Satoru had left him, looking only slightly better than he had when Satoru had started fighting Toji.
Which was to say he was lying there still, face pointed to the sky. His cursed energy was a mosaic, patently strange, exceedingly rare. For the first time in a long time, Satoru wasn’t able to read someone with the Six Eyes. Or at least, he was so confused about what he was reading that he might as well have not gotten the input at all.
One thing he knew for sure—whatever hole this boy had crawled out of, it didn’t belong to this world.
