Lestat slammed the piano lid shut, a determined glint in his eyes. Tonight, he wouldn't just exist in their shared space, he would participate. He would be present, attentive, and take care of his wife. The plan, formulated in his head, was foolproof. He would start with the small things, the subtle gestures of a loving spouse. He would greet Louis at the door with a kiss, not a nod, and perhaps, help him with the dinner prep. It would be all very… domestic.
