"Who are you?" Harold says, but the soldier's familiar; the tall one who'd looked embarrassed.
And who still looks embarrassed. "Oh. Sorry, sir. Um. John Harris. Private Harris? I'm your um, assigned unit. Sir.” He sticks out a hand.

Arthur’s agreed to come to the druid camp so that he can see this Emrys the prophecy talks about and unite their lands, but Emrys won’t meet him. Instead, Arthur’s been left with this young druid called Merlin that parades around half-naked and smiles too much. At first, Arthur feels as though there’s not much more to him than just that, but later he discovers that he’s been wrong all along and that Emrys has been closer to him than he thought.

“You boys need anything else?” Mandy ask when she reappears beside the table, eyes bright and hopeful. “Coffee? Tea?” Her eyes rake over Cas and she bites her lip, sending every signal in the book. “Some dessert?”
Dean grins as Mandy looks between them, mostly at Cas. Cas gives Dean the ‘is that an innuendo?’ squint and Dean nods. “You know in fact we would like some dessert. My buddy here’s kind of shy about it so we were hoping for…something to take back to our room.”
“Really?” Mandy purrs, finally looking at Dean with some interest.
“Yeah, but we were hoping for something we could split.” Mandy’s eyebrows go high just as Cas’s eyes get even narrower. “Anything like that on the menu?”
Mandy looks between the two of them, licking at her lips. “I think I can get something like that for you.”

He’s done this a hundred times. He’s driven down this road in the soft morning light, heading out to some little town in some distant corner of the country. This is a job like any other.

Summary
Contracted out by the local police in Moriarty, New Mexico, Dean is sent to investigate the happenings around a church outside of town, the Angel-worshiping congregation reportedly flocking to the location in recent days. As it turns out, though, instead of snake charmers or devil worshipers, Dean finds an Angel crucified to the cross, said Angel unreasonably snarky despite being tied up against his will.
Turning over Castiel to the authorities, though, doesn't work in Dean's favor. With nowhere to go and Heaven having abandoned him, Dean agrees to haul Castiel across the country on two conditions--he doesn't smoke in the car, and he doesn't rob convenience stores in broad daylight.
God, Dean might actually kill him before this is over.

And that’s when he always runs past cute-boy-who-smiles-at-him. He noticed it during the second week of the semester. The first time it happened (a Monday), Cas was wiping sweat from his face with his forearm when he looked up and saw big green eyes staring right at him almost as if he was waiting on him to notice him. Cas had smiled first that day because that’s what you do when you run past people, you smile politely and keep right on jogging. But the way cute-boy-who-smiles-at-him smiled back at him that day had Cas weak in the knees for a second and nearly tripping over the loose, uneven bricks of the Hillsborough sidewalk.

Summary
When Dean gets a letter from his father, ordering him to travel to New Orleans, he doesn’t know what to expect. However, learning that John had died leaving Dean an apartment building wasn’t high on his list. Dean is a mess and the building is a mess, but stubbornly, Dean restores it and rebuilds his own life from the shambles in the process.
Past has a way to catch up, though, and as Dean learns more about his peculiar tenants, he is sucked into the mystery of a man wearing tiaras and fairy wings. What first seems like a harmless mental case growing vegetables and harvesting bees on the roof, eventually proves to be something completely different. At the end, through sacrifice and pain, Dean finds a family he didn’t know he wanted, and love he didn’t know he deserved.

Summary
Cas likes to run. He likes that it’s something he can do alone whenever he wants, something to clear his head and decrease his anxiety. All that changes when his sister, Anna, volunteers him to be a guide for a blind runner who wants to participate in the Boston Marathon. Cas is completely, totally, 100% against this at first, but once he meets said runner, the snarky and (if Cas is being honest) ridiculously attractive Dean Winchester, he starts to have a change of heart. Maybe running with a partner won’t be so bad after all.

The angels have fallen, leaving Castiel graceless and Dean with, well, more of other people’s problems. When a string of couples goes missing on the east coast, Dean and Cas decide to investigate—and find themselves trapped and hunted on a couples’ counseling cruise. Although battling monsters at sea is dangerous enough, sorting through emotional baggage proves to be far more deadly. (And, in which Cas embarks to find his missing grace and Dean is put out. Not necessarily in that order.)

For the first six stops on his road trip, things go mostly according to plan, and then he meets the man who has Sam’s heart.
