Pepper PottsNow, this was great for Peter Parker. More than great! It meant that Peter would have something to put on his college applications, and potentially a letter of recommendation, and it meant he would have an actual challenge for once in his life.
This development, however, was not great for Spider-man. Spider-man was being hunted down by the Avengers, which Mr. Stark happened to be a part of. And Peter Parker happened to be Spider-man.
OR: Peter Parker is interining at Stark industries. The spider that bit Peter had a few more effects than it does in canon, including but not limited to: fangs, way worse instincts, and an annoyingly sentient spidey sense

Nothing ever happens in Hawkins. Steve wants to believe that. He wants to bury his head in the sand so badly and just be a stupid teenager. He wants to drive around and speed through stop signs with Tommy and Carol, he wants to throw parties at his house that end up with the chief of police shutting him down.
But he can’t, because Barbara Holland was supposed to have run away to live it up in New York City, and instead she is sitting on his diving board in his backyard, wearing the exact same puffer jacket she had been wearing last November. Because Barbara Holland is dead.

“Oh, we definitely are,” Lance replies, absolutely thrilled and, apparently, suicidal. “It’s happening! It’s happening. Don’t fight it, Keith,” he says, as though Keith isn’t going to fight this kicking and screaming all the way. “I’m gonna be the best wingman you never wanted."
Lance takes it upon himself to be Keith’s personal wingman the moment he finds out he’s into guys.
The rose? They have the entire universe to find Keith a boyfriend, and so, not all hope is lost.
The thorn? Keith’s only interested in one guy and it’s the idiot dragging him into this matchmaking hell.
