All Billy Batson wanted was to survive a particularly rough week living on the streets of Fawcett City. The last thing he was looking for was a new family.
All Bruce Wayne wanted was to learn a bit more about his upbeat teammate under the guise of official Wayne Enterprises business. But he could never turn his back on a child in need. Especially one as surrounded by mystery as Billy.

While trying to take down a drug cartel that deals with memory altering drugs, things go awry, and Batman wakes up with no recollection of the last five years.
As a result, his family must now race against time to find the antidote, while also having to deal with a Bruce who still thinks Jason is Robin. A Bruce who doesn't recognise most of them. A Bruce far less jaded and cynical than the one they're used to. A Bruce who still cares. -

Summary
Depicted on his forearm was the outline of two crossed swords, like those that he had read about in stories of the warriors who were out fighting the great battles in the war. He was always proud of his marking, not only cause it made him look cool, but he figured that his soulmate must be cool because of the swords too, right?
Except, the one problem was that his soulmate wasn’t in the southern water tribe.
(Alternatively; everyone is born with a mark that ties them to their soulmate. Let’s just say that Sokka hasn’t had the best luck when it’s come to his.)

Summary
Sokka doesn’t like his soulmate. It’s not like he even knows who they are, but the second he found out about his pain being shared with his soulmate through their bond he did everything in his power to get hurt as little as possible because it was the right thing to do and everybody knew that. Except his soulmate, apparently.

It's a week into Zuko's banishment when his soulmate severs their connection. And just like he doesn't deserve to be home until he's regained his honor, he figures he doesn't deserve a soul connection, either. It's all part of the same lesson.
(Soulmate AU: When your soulmate experiences a powerful emotion, you can feel it too. At any time for any reason, though, you can sever this connection to your soulmate so neither of you feel it anymore. Only the partner who severed the connection is able to unsever it.)

Tim thunked his head down on his desk, letting out a groan of frustration. All in all, it’s clear that Tim is rather… lacking with a steady adult in his life, which is probably his fault somehow, anyway, so he shouldn’t complain. When he picked his head up, his vision was level with his window. There wasn’t much to see, just the gardens out back, his mother’s rose bushes lining the property, and Wayne Manor in the distance. Tim sat up completely straight as a thought struck him.

Summary
“It’s healing really well.” Katara tells him with a smile, before her lips quirk down into a frown. “Though it’ll still scar pretty bad.”
Zuko shrugs. “It’s ok. I doubt people will really focus on it anyway… the one on my face is a bit more prominent.”
Katara makes a face, like she’s not quite sure if she should laugh or frown, when Toph speaks up.
“You have a scar on your face?” Toph asks, sitting up so she’s sitting by his legs rather than lying on them.
Zuko blinks. He never quite forgets that Toph is blind, but the fact that she can’t see his scar never really occurred to him.
“Oh, yeah.” Zuko looks down at his lap. “My father burned like, half my face off before I was banished.” He says it a little too casually, probably not bitterly enough.
A crash next to him makes him look up, to see Katara's horrified expression, and a shattered bowl of water at her feet.
No one says anything for a long moment.
“Zuko… it- your dad?” Katara finally manages to gasp out. Zuko blinks at her, his brain moving slowly.
“You didn’t know?” He asks in genuine surprise.
“No.” Sokka wheezes.
Zuko blinks at him. “Oh.” Is all he can manage to say.

When Zuko dashes into the sitting room, it is with the same wide-eyed panic that he ran from Azula’s smoking hands when he was a child. Iroh bites down on a smile. Zuko looks the same, even now, a decade later with a scar blossomed over one side of his face, green and brown robes replacing the solitary reds of his childhood. His hair is puffed up around his face. He looks like a very frightened, very windswept turtle-dove.
Zuko dives behind Iroh just as Aang breezes to a stop in the doorway.
Five times Zuko hid behind Iroh, plus one time Zuko stood proudly in front of him.
