You can say a lot of things about Denki Kaminari.
You could say that he is annoying or immature. You could even claim that he’s impulsive or that he lacks a filter at times.
But one thing that Denki Kaminari keeps making clear to anyone and everyone around him is that in no way, shape or form is he a coward.He liked to believe that his childhood was good. It certainly wasn’t bad, it was just… missing something.
Denki knew her parents loved her. They wanted the best for her, Denki was sure.
But when her father, usually so calm and composed rose to a stand and his eyes turned wild and repeated, screaming at the top of his lungs and pointing to the door: „OUT!“.
As if Denki was a dog being chased out of the house after having disobeyed.

Kaminari’s penchant for brightly colored bracelets that line his wrists and forearms just seemed like another symptom of his bright personality. Too bright… if you asked Bakugou. But his opinion of Kaminari was permanently molded into a solid Before and After. Before he’d presumed the boy was naive and dumb, all of his bright smiles and mischief stemming from some sort of boundless fountain of energy within. After… he knew better.
Todoroki had noticed the boy at first as something of an irritation. Loud and bright and shining like the sun. But somehow, that irritation had eventually died and he’d been left with an admiration… and a craving. If only he could be so bright. If Todoroki wanted to bask in that sun… it was a secret he kept close to his heart. So perhaps that was why, when he began to understand that the sun was hiding something behind it… Todoroki wanted to reach for the sun… if only to make sure the clouds never touched it again.
Or... Kaminari doesn't realize his secret has gotten out and he can't figure out why everyone is suddenly being extra nice to him.
