He very slowly starts to reach out to hold his human hand parallel to the shadow one. Slowly, very slowly, and with trembling fingers, Tadashi brings their palms together in something akin to a handshake. “Tsukki…?” he hears himself say, voice unsure, stupidly seeking reassurance from the unknowable preternatural being that’s making him shake, but Tsukki doesn’t let him doubt himself for long. As though spurred on by Tadashi’s blind trust, Tsukki’s image sharpens even further, the strange misty sensation against his hand becoming more real. Tadashi blinks, his jaw hanging open, and then suddenly the shadow hand against his own becomes solid, the cool, flat plane of its palm resting heavily against Tadashi’s, its thin, long fingers curling slightly to caress the sensitive skin of Tadashi’s inner wrist.
