Summary
Tommy approaches the king directly, standing right in front of him. Up close, from here, Tommy feels impossibly small. He has to tilt his head back to look up at this man, and the king stares down at him with a ghost of a smile, like he’s amused at the fact that they’re so far in terms of height.
His young hands lift up a wooden box. The king stares at it with disinterest, but he takes it when Tommy shoves it forward, almost hitting it into his armor.
Holding it in the palm of one hand, the king undoes the latch and lifts the lid. He pauses.
Inside that box, sits a woven crown made of fresh yellow flowers.
(Or, Technoblade is taking over the world, conquering kingdoms one by one, and Tommy is a young, newly crowned king who's waiting for him to arrive, with a gift of appeasement in hand.)

And then he gets a message from the infamous Antarctic gang and everything goes to shit.
Now Tommy has to handle pulling off the heist of his life, all while hiding his true identity from both the tyrannical government and his new associates in the most feared gang in the city.

It was in his blood, his father was a well-known director throughout Hollywood. Great movies like The Chasing of Elwood Skillet, and inspirational documentaries over the tragic murder of James Canopy. All in his father’s creation, the man was cherished by the nation for his great deeds, Oscars and Academy Awards lined his walls.
And Tommy was following right in his footsteps, making his way to becoming Hollywood history. Known for his breathtaking acting at such a young age and long list of box office hits.
So when Tommy gets casted to work with his idol, the infamous Wilbur Craft, he’s ecstatic. He means, what could go wrong after all?

Summary
“I can turn straw into gold,” a child insists. His face is smeared with dirt, tears dried and sticky on his cheeks, but his iris’ are the color of the sky and his hands are clenched into fists. The other kids laugh at him and kick more dirt up at his small body, sneer, and tear into him with cruel words.
“Gold?” a porcelain smiley-faced figure questions, kneeling before the child and offering out a hand. His face is hidden, his voice is dripping with amusement and greed, but Tommy takes the hand of the first person that has listened since his parents died.
“He can spin straw into gold?” the emperor questions, a great being with wings of smoke and death and eyes as cold as ice. His twin sons laugh like a funny joke has been told, identical pairs of tusks gleaming in the light of the throne room, and a challenge is set.
Three days. A room of straw.
A story that will be spoken about for eons.

Tommy risked a glance back—
A shadow stood at the end of the hall.
Something tall. Twisted. Its face—or lack of one—was obscured by darkness, but its limbs stretched impossibly long, fingers dragging along the walls as it took a single step forward.
Not fast.
Not rushing.
It didn’t have to.
The shadow's form flickered, and for a brief moment, Tommy saw something else. Pink hair. A crown of bones. A bored expression glinting with something darker.
The air seemed to scream as every door in the hallway slammed shut in unison.

Summary
How Tommy ended up in the Kings den, surrounded by three enemy mer, was still slightly a mystery to himself. It felt so… surreal, and strange, and weird.
The arctic mer were weird, and clingy, and possessive fucks. Tommy basically handed himself over on a silver platter for the sharks to come and take him away.
Tommy was currently pressed against Phil’s chest with his arms wrapped around him and Wilbur on his other side, his head resting on Tommys chest with his own arms wrapped around him.
Or Tommy, who had been exiled from L’Manberg, goes off to kill the King to prove his worth to his nation. Along the way, though, he thinks he may be on the wrong side of history.

A hand touches his shoulder, rough. He flinches, jumping back, turning to make eye contact with red glowing eyes. A feeling of panic-inducing fear runs through him for a split second before his powers kick in, leaving him shaky in his steps, and interrupting the stream of fear radiating off whoever was behind him. It comes in waves now, shaking him every time, almost enough to make him squeal in fear. The only thing grounding him in the knife still in his arm, the pain from the stab flaring every time his muscles tensed from the fear.
Another grunt, this time not from his own throat, shook him from his dazed thoughts.
There in all his glory, was Executioner. Red cape and all. Even the crown on his head sat there, mockingly looking at Khaos. The sentence left his mouth before he could even stop himself.
“Your crown is crooked.”

"You missed a spot," a voice spoke up above his music. It was only eight in the fucking morning and Tommy, if you hadn’t gathered it yet, was not a morning person. So whichever little bitch of a guard was trying to comment on his work was about to severely regret it.
Tommy squared his shoulders, pulled out an earbud and whipped around. "Excuse you, you fucki—" He stopped. There was no guard there. The hall was empty. Instead, he found himself staring into a cell.
Tommy didn't need to read the plaque next to the cell to know who those brown eyes belonged to. Fucking Siren.
Or, Tommy, an orphan freshly turned eighteen, has landed himself a job as a janitor inside the highest security prison of the country: Pandora's Vault. Also known as the prison that holds the most powerful supervillains of the last decades, including Siren, the Blade and even Zephyrus. He shook his head furiously, choked sobs forcing their way out of his mouth as he shuffled backwards, hands scrabbling on the gravel and cutting into his palms. He didn’t notice the pain, too hopped up on adrenaline and fear to recognise it.
Without his permission, a chirp managed to escape, almost masked by his cries and incomprehensible pleading.

Zephyrus paused in his approach, tensing at the sound and staring at Tommy, straightening up to his full height.
Tommy’s breathing became more frantic with the realisation that the man had heard. He knew now. That wasn’t good, that wasn’t safe. They were going to hurt him, they were going to kill him, Tommy didn’t want to die.
A coo reached his ears, the sound dancing on the wind. Safe-calm-protected.

Tommy is an avian hybrid training to be a hero. A wrench is thrown into his plans when he meets the Syndicate leader Zephyrus, and for some reason, his instincts seem to adore him. The feeling is mutual, so now Tommy has to try and live life while yearning for a family of supervillains that are actively trying to kidnap him.
