Alastor has handed himself over to Vox, willingly, with a smile. A concession that Vox sees as a triumph.
But the more time he spends with his captive, the closer he gets to him, the more the lines begin to blur: between control and desire, between power and self-destruction. And little by little, the lies he keeps telling himself begin to fall apart, until the truth about him and Alastor slowly starts to unfold.
What starts as a game between old rivals turns into an all-consuming obsession that devours everything in its path. And deep within the V-Tower, Vox slowly but surely begins to lose the signal, his sanity, and maybe even himself.
And what remains is far more dangerous.

Summary
You're broken from the start, no victory will ever be enough
Vee Tower was looking distinctly less immaculate than it had mere hours ago. Much of the surrounding area was reduced to rubble, bodies were still being pulled from the decimation. Golden smoke streamed into the red night sky, creating a haze that lingered in the hopes of all sinners. The effort to rebuild would be a nuisance, and the remaining Vees would likely try to push blame elsewhere, not wanting to claim the monstrosity their former third had unleashed. The corner of Alastor's mouth twitched with unbridled joy.
His plan had worked.
Alastor steals Head Vox and brings him to the hotel. Chaos will ensue.

Good thing he already had a head start. He had been planning this passively for years, honestly it felt like fate that all of Curly’s hard work was coming together like this.i.e.
Curly had Jimmy delivered to his custody, and now he gets to break him down into something that can’t live without him. "Hmm, almost?" Jimmy's voice was lower now, the previous sarcasm gone, almost thoughtful. He took another step, stopping half a meter from the captain's legs sticking out of the vent. "Seems your 'almost' turned into 'completely.'"
"Yeah," he finally exhaled, his voice muted by the ventilation shaft. "You're right. I'm stuck. Tight. Can't… move forward or back."
"Well then," Jimmy crouched down next to Curly's hip. "Guess I'll have to pull you out."
