Before he could allow the guilt to fully consume him, Phil skidded to a halt beside the stasis chamber, wasting no time in slamming down the spruce trapdoor hovering above the ender pearl and watching as it shattered into a million tiny, fragile pieces with a sound akin to the glass of a window breaking apart. He showed no reaction to the loudness of the sound despite the suddenness of it, simply staring transfixed with baited breath as a figure materialized before him.
Or: Techno’s return from 3 months in the prison. Neither he nor Phil are doing great :)

He couldn't cope with the shame, the disappointment he felt in himself, and worst of all the justification he felt in his actions. He knew that none of those would be welcomed before an all-powerful deity that had never felt emotion in that same way that a mortal did and so he pushed it all down, fighting the urge to let out the sigh that had built in his chest.
Or: God servant Technoblade is abandoned by the God he follows. Fortunately for him, someone else has had their eye on him.

All he could see when he closed his eyes was the rusted iron anvil dangling over his head, attached to a fraying rope, slowly beginning to draw closer and closer as time moved in slow motion. All he could feel was the steady creeping of terror into his heart and the cold wood of the totem clutched tightly in his hand- his one lifeline, his one shot at escaping with his life.
Or: Post-execution Techno struggles to let his guard down and ends up lashing out. Luckily, his friend will always be there for him.

Technoblade was going to die today.
The one sensation he was never meant to feel was his only option. Today, techno had to walk straight into death’s arms because, there was no one else to hold him.
OR : dying hero!Techno stumbles into the villain lair, on orders to destroy them or die trying, already half dead. This prompts the literal goddes of death to go, ‘if they won’t take care of him, I will’.

Not to brag, but Techno's a pretty great mechanic. And not just because his human hands have multiple dexterousness fingers. His skills have gotten him pretty far in the universe. Further than most humans can ever make it.
Almost literally, since humans can't survive faster than light travel.
With the near infinity of space, that little biological fact limits the mobility of their entire species. But, as humans tend to do, they have spent all their experience points on brains over functional bodies. Thus, a solution was created: cryopods.
Cryosleep makes it possible for Techno to travel through space, and his skills make it actually worthwhile for a ship's crew to even bother with him. It's going pretty well, all things considered. If only his body realized how critical it was not to get oh-so sleepy and achy after being frozen alive and thawed out. It really throws a wrench in his productivity.

Techno is a human on a mixed species spaceship with Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy. All four crew members contend with the effects of popsicle-ification. Thawing procedure is most optimal with shared body heat, copious fur petting, and sugary offerings.

Summary
Although the world was never anything close to a utopia for omegas, even before the dead started walking, afterwards things got downright dire. Generally smaller and more prone to stress, it's no surprise that they're the first ones to be cast aside and left for dead. And any packs that they do end up within tend to go even worse.
Techno's seen it himself enough times to know. It's firsthand knowledge.
Luckily for Techno, the majority of his childhood was spent in extremely high stress scenarios, malnourished and never feeling safe. Which means that all of his omega nonsense is so stunted that he practically isn't even one! He is set on keeping everyone under that impression, no matter what it takes.
Even if this new pack seems startlingly different from everything that he was used to before.
