Summary

Content: Most pivotal to this story is the theme of trauma. One significant plot point is Effie's backstory as a victim of childhood sexual abuse. This will never be shown graphically - however, allusions will be made to the nature of her abuse & how it continually affects her as an adult. There will be canon-typical violence, substance abuse, disordered eating, self harm, & dystopian atrocities. There will also be sexual content.

But Anthony followed, the two dancing in an awkward circle until she was forced to walk backward. “Asking me if I died! I am standing right here, right in front of you! Do I look like someone who is dead?”
“Kind of. Yeah.” Anthony nodded to her current state.

A modern era story that delves into Jane's psyche, exploring the depths behind such a guarded and kind character that begs recontextualization/interpretation. Quite angsty and pine-y.
