The new project had her eager and before long, she’d forgotten her boredom. Whatever the book was, it wasn’t common and it could influence the minds of those nearby.

Excitement flowed through the soul fragment at the idea of a new high stakes game. The player was a child, but a genius, perhaps even one on his level.
‘This is either going to be my greatest triumph or most humiliating defeat.’ Tom thought, alone but not forgotten as the brilliant mind of his opponent whirled under her curly brown hair.
